Bird Owner's Air Purifier

If you own a bird or three, you know that you have a lot more particles in the air than most folk do.  Although their colorful appearance and personalities surely make it all worthwhile for you!

But keeping the air clear with an air purifier is a must for the continued good health of your avian friends and you.

The first thing an air purifier must be is safe.  The only by-product you should allow your filtration to produce is fresh air.  Don’t risk any amount of ozone or ionized particles.
These filtration methods are controversial and different studies show different results. There is no sense taking a chance until all agree on what the effects are.
The cleaner needs to be able to stack the deck against particles by having multiple sized filters.  The filters need to be able to eliminate the visible to invisible particles from the air.
The unit also needs to be able to run continuously to keep particulates from building to levels that are unhealthy for birds and humans.
From the birds’ perspective, having to continually inhale air that is thick with particles clogs their tiny air passages. This often opens the door to disease and infection which can shorten their lives.
For humans, air thick with particles can exacerbate existing respiratory conditions such as asthma and allergies, and can also cause the onset of problems where none existed.
PurerAir.com offers the Bird Dust Air Purifier that can keep you and your bird healthier.  See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Best Bird Room Air Purifier

Birds are probably more susceptible to bad air than humans.  So using an air purifier to keep the air clean is a must.

Their small air passages make it so easy for particles to adhere to the wall of the tubes and eventually cause disease and infection if the air passages don’t become completely closed first.
Not a nice thing to think about.
With that said the cleaner needs to work all the time to keep the air clean. Not only should it be able to clean bird-related particles such as feathers, dander, and dust, but more normal household particles such as dust, dust mites, seasonal pollens, mold and mildew spores, and bacteria and viruses.
And even though the cleaner is for the birds, it will also help their humans stay healthier too.  Constant exposure to such high levels of dander and bird dust can cause sensitivity where there was none before.
This can result in sneezing and congestion when doing daily maintenance.  Left unchecked this could cause respiratory issues that are a nuisance to deal with at best.
The cleaner should also produce only fresh air as a by-product.  It is important to avoid any level of ozone and ionized particles for the birds’ sake and yours.

Avian Air Purifier

If you have an avian friend as part of your family, you certainly spend a lot of time trying to provide it with the best life possible. And one of the most important things to provide is clean air.

Normal indoor air is frequently full of dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, seasonal pollen as well as bacteria and viruses. Add a bird to the mix, and you’ve got air that is heavy with pollutants.

Birds have tiny air passages. Air that is thick with particulate and gaseous pollutants can cause serious problems.

In fact some gases are lethal, and breathing air that is full of particles can clog their airways.

Clogged airways are often the beginning of disease and infection. Birds instinctively hide signs of weakness that would indicate illness. As a result, many times by the time your bird shows signs of an illness, it is already too late to reverse the effects.

Using an air purifier to proactively clear the air is effective yet non-invasive. The best type of technology to use for particles is HEPA filtration. This type of filter is the same kind they use in hospitals, and can remove particulates as small as .3 microns.

Carbon cloth is another important filter to have because of its dual function. Not only is it able to remove noxious odors, gases and airborne chemicals but it can also give additional protection against particles since it is woven like cloth.

PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner that is safe for birds and can remove particles and gaseous pollutants from the air. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Parrot Dust Control

Uncontrolled parrot dust is one of the biggest health risks for pet birds and their owners. In the wild this dust would dissipate into the atmosphere or the birds would be free to fly away.

Neither is true for those who live their lives in our homes.

All parrots are not created equal when it comes to the amount of dust they produce. The African Grey, Cockatoo, and Cockatiel produce the most dust.

This is a natural part of their growth and development and helps keeps their wings healthy.

But unless this dust is constantly filtered from the air, it will eventually clog their tiny air passages and make it easier for disease and infection to gain control.

Because birds instinctively hide symptoms of illness, generally by the time owners recognize that their bird is not well, it is often too late to reverse their condition.

And for humans, constantly breathing these particulates can exacerbate allergies, asthma and other respiratory conditions. And cause problems for those who were healthy.

Filtering the air with multiple filters for particles is the best way to continually minimize dust, dander and other household pollutants that will cause their health to suffer.

The best type of filter for reducing particulates is a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter. In order to receive this designation, the filter must be able to remove 99,997 out of every 10,000 airborne particles that are .3 microns or larger.

In order to keep this filter from filling prematurely, a purifier that is to be effective at controlling parrot dust should have other filters that can trap particles of varying size. This saves the HEPA for microscopic pollutants and saves you from having to change filters frequently.

Clean Air For Parrots

Keeping the air clean for your parrot is as important as providing fresh water and a proper diet. These birds come in all shapes, sizes, and colors with a variety of personalities to match.

But the common denominator for all in captivity (your home) is that they rely on their owners to take a proactive approach to clearing away the airborne dander, feathers, and dust they create.

In the wild these bird-related particulates would dissipate naturally into the air. In our home, and offices we are usually so well insulated that there is very little exchange indoor air.

And typically the air is simply passed from one room to another without a substantial number of the normal indoor pollutants being removed.

Household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, dander from other pets added to particles that parrots naturally generate, and it doesn’t take long for the air to become thick. This is bad news for the birds because their air passages can become so easily clogged when the air is polluted.

Using an air purifier to clear away particles and other pollutants continually is the best way to insure that your bird is always breathing the cleanest, healthiest air possible. High efficiency particle arresting filters are the best type of filters for parrots.

By definition these filters must remove 99.97% of particles that are .3 microns or greater in size. And a muti-filtration process that uses filters for particles and gases helps you easily identify the most efficient purifier.

PurerAir.com offers the Bird Dust Air Purifier with HEPA filtration and multi-stage filtration for gases and odors as well. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Air for Pet Birds

The air that you provide for your pet bird must be kept clean continuously if your bird is to enjoy a happy, healthy life.

In captivity air that becomes heavy with dust, dander, feathers, and dried fecal material can mean a slow and agonizing death for your bird and for you to watch.

Air clogged with particulates can easily clog their small air passages, and this is often the first step towards disease and infection.

Because they instinctively hide signs of illness, it is often too late once symptoms appear to return them to health.

An air purifier that contains a filter that is good at taking out particles is a must. And it would be great if that same unit also contained a filter that is capable of removing gases, chemicals, and odors would be a good thing too.

A unit with the ability to remove both gaseous and particulate pollutants would give your bird the cleanest air possible.

PurerAir.com offers a purifier that contains a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filter as well as 2 pre-filers for a wide range of particulate removal.

And this same cleaner contains a carbon cloth filter that is yet another filter that is good at removing particles. In addition, it is able to filter gases, odors, and chemicals because of its carbon make-up.

Give your bird a good life by providing clean air 24 hours every day with the air purifier for birds at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Managing Bird Allergies

There is nothing more heart breaking than adopting a bird only to find that constant exposure sends your allergies into overdrive. Before you begin to try to find a new home for your bird (perish the thought) here are a few suggestions that will reduce the number of allergens to which you are exposed.

Other than completely avoiding your bird, the next best thing is to reduce the number of triggers to which you are exposed. Wear a mask while you clean with a damp cloth and mop to keep the particles from going airborne again.

You can further remove those particles that do go airborne (and nothing will get rid of all of them) by continuously filtering the air with a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting air cleaner. This type of filter removes bird dust and dander as well as other household pollutants such as household dust.

It’s important to remove these pollutants before they can clog your bird’s air passages. Their airways are so small that it does not take much to cause a blockage. This often leads to disease and infection, and the results are often hard to reverse.

PurerAir.com offers an allergy air purifier designed to remove both bird-related pollutants and other common allergy triggers.

Eliminating Bird Dander Effectively

If you have a bird you realize how much your feathered friend is depending on you to provide a healthy and stimulating atmosphere. In the wild the additional particles of dander (flakes of dead skin), feathers, and dust dissipate into the air.

The birds are also able to fly to various locations so they are not forced to breathe air that is clogged with particles.

In your well insulated home these bird-related particles will remain in the air unless you take steps to actively remove them.

Dander is not good for your bird to breathe because it clogs their air passages. This restricts the amount of oxygen they receive, and can cause the onset of disease and infection.

Dander is not good for humans for many of the same reasons. In addition, the protein in the dander is a potent and well-known allergen to which many people are sensitive. Exposure to large amounts of dander for prolonged periods of time can cause even those who were not formerly sensitive to become so.

Because of its small size, these flakes of skin are hardly visible, but your bird’s normal activities such as preening, flying, flapping its wings or just playing with a toy can send these fine particles into the air in addition to dust, and bits of feathers.

Continually filtering the air is the best way to effectively clean the air for you and your bird. A HEPA (or high efficiency particle arresting) filter is the best type of filter to eliminate airborne particles. This technology is designed to remove 99,997 out of every 10,000 particles that are .3 microns or larger.

This means that not only the dander and other bird-related pollutants are removed but other normal household pollutants too. These include dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, seasonal pollens, and bacteria and viruses.

PurerAir.com offers a portable, plug-in air purifier that offers a 4-stage filtration process. This cleaner continues to be used by professional aviaries such as the Joshua Rescue Foundation for Birds and the Theater of the Sea Aviary in Islamorada, Florida.

If it works in aviaries, it will surely work for you. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dander_air_purifier.html

Safe Bird Air Purifier

Sharing your home with a bird can be so rewarding. Pet birds are beautiful, loyal, and many are even able to talk. But living with a bird also means having many more particles in the air.

Feathers, dander, and dust all add to the normal household pollutants that are found in the cleanest of homes such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and dander from other pets.

Breathing an increased number of particles means your lungs are being used as a filter much more than they normally would be. And these additional particles also have the potential to take years off the life of your bird.

Because birds have such small air passages, it doesn’t take much to clog them. In the wild the particles would dissipate into the air, or the birds would fly away. In your home neither of those things is possible unless you take proactive steps to clear the air.

The only way to keep the air virtually particle free is to filter the air 24 hours a day with an air purifier that is safe for both people and birds. The best and safest technology is called HEPA (or high efficiency particle arresting).

To be designated as such this type of filter must be able to remove 99.97% of airborne particles that are .3 microns or greater. The only by-product of this type of filtration is fresh, clean air. In fact, this is the same type of filtration used in hospitals to insure clean air.

PurerAir.com offers a portable HEPA air purifier that can eliminate airborne dust, feathers, and dander all day every day for you and your bird.

If you’ve made a space in your home and your life for birds, you’ve taken on a lot of responsibility. Keeping your bird healthy and your home smelling and looking fresh and clean should go hand in hand.

Bird odor can be very off-putting for you, your family and friends. Particles such as bird dander and dust, feathers, dried feces can all clogged your birds’ air passages and cause disease and infection in the birds, and possibly humans.

As long as you have an aviary in your home your air will need to be filtered 24 hours a day in order to keep all who live there healthy.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that uses carbon with a special additive for odor. It also contain as high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that can take out airborne particles, bacteria, and viruses as small as .3 microns. This cleaner will send 250 cubic feet of fresh air into your space every 60 seconds.

Birds of a Feather

You know the old saying---Birds of a feather…? Well my 6 year old is going through the joke phase right now. So I decided to join her by asking, “Do you know what they say about birds of a feather”? She did not. So I filled in the blank for her. Birds of a feather need an air purifier! She laughed and said, “Oh Mommmm!”

On a more serious note, the fact that pet birds need an air purifier is no laughing matter. Indoor air in our homes is often filled with dust, dust mites, pollen, odors, gases, and airborne chemicals that are not healthy for us and can be devastating to a bird’s health.

Adding to those pollutants are the ones generated by any bird’s natural growth and development—mainly feathers, dust, and dander. Even though these particles are present when birds live in the wild, they are able to dissipate into the atmosphere without causing a problem.

In our homes, unless we take proactive measures to correct it, these pollutants go round and round through one vent and out the next without any way of getting out of the air. As a result, the air becomes thick for you and your bird.

For you this may result in allergy and asthma flare ups, and in rarer instances the spread of what some call Bird Fanciers Lung—a respiratory condition that affects humans when they inhale airborne dust from bird droppings.

For your bird, these airborne pollutants clog air passages which lead to illness and disease that often go undetected until it is too late to reverse the condition.

Using a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier for your bird is the best way to keep your home healthy for all. That’s why PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner that will work 24 hours a day to keep you and your bird happy and healthy.

Bird Cage Air Purifier

If you have dedicated a room in your home for your bird you have provided a wonderful environment that you and your bird can enjoy.

But even the cleanest of homes have airborne pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, and dander from other pets. And having a bird as a pet adds additional airborne pollutants such as bird feathers, dust, and dander.

Having an entire room serve as your bird’s home gives your birded added enjoyment by being able to move beyond the bars of a cage. But unless you keep your bird’s air sacs clear by removing these pollutants that can so easily clog air passages, your bird room affords little advantage.

Because birds are very sensitive to temperature and drafts, keeping the air clean must be handled carefully. And it must be a continuous effort that is effective in literally keeping the dander down for both your sake and your bird's.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with a HEPA filter that by definition removes 99,997 particles out of every 10,000 as small as .3 microns. The high efficiency particle arresting filter is one of 4 filters in this air purifier that eliminate particles.

This air will gently send 125 cubic feet of fresh, clean air into your bird’s room every 60 seconds making it a great place for you and your bird to spend many happy hours.

Filter for Bird Dander

Bird dander is a natural by product of a healthy bird. In their natural habitat these microscopic bits of dead skin would simply dissipate into the air without causing much of a problem,

But unless you do something to get rid of airborne dander in your home, it will cause big problems for both you and your bird.

The problems for both humans and birds begin in the respiratory system.

Birds' air passages are quite small and can become clogged easily. Without filtered air, these passages become clogged and lead to disease and infection which often shorten their life span considerably.

Humans can suffer allergic reactions to the protein found in the dander. Symptoms may present as coughing, watery eyes, and congestion, making it impossible to really enjoy your bird.

The presence of so many particles in the air can also facilitate the spread of bacteria and viruses that often travel from one host to another by attaching to pieces of dander and other normal household pollutants that are then inhaled or ingested. So a filter for bird dander is just as vital as food and water.

That’s why PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with a medical grade HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) filter that can remove bird dander as small as .3 microns from the air 24 hours a day every day and is guaranteed to last 5 years.

This filter will send 125 cubic feet of fresh, clean air to you and your birds for 43,800 hours without even one filter change. And should your filter need changing before the 5 year period is over, you can take advantage of the prorated filter warranty that is practically one of a kind in the air purification industry.

Filter bird dander from your air forever. See the Bird Dander Air Purifier now at http://purerair.com/bird_dander_air_purifier.html
