Best Bird Room Air Purifier

Birds are probably more susceptible to bad air than humans.  So using an air purifier to keep the air clean is a must.

Their small air passages make it so easy for particles to adhere to the wall of the tubes and eventually cause disease and infection if the air passages don’t become completely closed first.
Not a nice thing to think about.
With that said the cleaner needs to work all the time to keep the air clean. Not only should it be able to clean bird-related particles such as feathers, dander, and dust, but more normal household particles such as dust, dust mites, seasonal pollens, mold and mildew spores, and bacteria and viruses.
And even though the cleaner is for the birds, it will also help their humans stay healthier too.  Constant exposure to such high levels of dander and bird dust can cause sensitivity where there was none before.
This can result in sneezing and congestion when doing daily maintenance.  Left unchecked this could cause respiratory issues that are a nuisance to deal with at best.
The cleaner should also produce only fresh air as a by-product.  It is important to avoid any level of ozone and ionized particles for the birds’ sake and yours.

Bird Room Air Purifiers

An air purifier in your bird’s room can mean the difference between a healthy environment for you and your bird and one that’s not.

There are natural pollutants in every one’s indoor air. Dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, seasonal pollens, bacteria and viruses are often an unfortunate part of indoor air.

With a bird in the house, you add to these ever-present pollutants with bird dust, dander, and feathers to mention the most obvious ones.

In the wild these bird-related particles would dissipate into the air and/or the birds would fly away. So a build up of particles in the air would never become an issue.

In captivity, the build up of these little particles can become a huge problem for you and your bird. Because avian air passages are so small, they can become clogged very easily, and once this happens it can lead to serious diseases and infections that are often impossible to reverse.

For humans these particles can exacerbate existing respiratory conditions and cause the onset of allergies and asthma in people who were previously healthy.

An effective air purifier for the bird room is crucial. And it needs multiple filters that can eliminate a wide range of particle sizes. It also needs to be able to provide 24 hour filtration to prevent the particle level from rising to a level that is hazardous to both birds and their owners.

PurerAir.com offers a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) air purifier with 3 other filters for particles including carbon cloth and several different sized pre-filters.

Bird Room Air Purifier

Your pet bird’s health is dependent on how well the conditions you provide help your bird adapt in your home. Providing clean air is of the utmost importance because if your bird can’t breathe, nothing else really matters.

The only way to continually remove airborne pollutants both seen and unseen from the air is to filter it. And the most effective and safest type of filtration for a bird room is HEPA (or high efficiency particle arresting) filtration.

This type of filtration is used by hospitals to insure clean air, and by definition it is able to remove particles that are as small as .3 microns. That’s a good thing, because it is usually the invisible bird dander that causes birds and humans the most problems.

By reducing the number of airborne particulates with this type of filtration, you are helping your bird’s air passages remain open, clean, and healthy. This is an excellent proactive yet non-invasive way to help your bird stay healthy.

The other great advantage of this type of filtration is that the only by-product it produces is fresh clean air.

PurerAir.com has been providing bird sanctuaries and aviaries with air purifiers for bird rooms for years. See the air purifier the professionals are continuing to use now at http://purerair.com/pet_dander_air_purifier.html

Bird Cage Air Purifier

If you have dedicated a room in your home for your bird you have provided a wonderful environment that you and your bird can enjoy.

But even the cleanest of homes have airborne pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, and dander from other pets. And having a bird as a pet adds additional airborne pollutants such as bird feathers, dust, and dander.

Having an entire room serve as your bird’s home gives your birded added enjoyment by being able to move beyond the bars of a cage. But unless you keep your bird’s air sacs clear by removing these pollutants that can so easily clog air passages, your bird room affords little advantage.

Because birds are very sensitive to temperature and drafts, keeping the air clean must be handled carefully. And it must be a continuous effort that is effective in literally keeping the dander down for both your sake and your bird's.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with a HEPA filter that by definition removes 99,997 particles out of every 10,000 as small as .3 microns. The high efficiency particle arresting filter is one of 4 filters in this air purifier that eliminate particles.

This air will gently send 125 cubic feet of fresh, clean air into your bird’s room every 60 seconds making it a great place for you and your bird to spend many happy hours.
