Good Health Insurance Plan

Good health care insurance is a plan that should protect our good health all day every day. It should stack the odds in our favor by safe guarding something that cannot be bought back once it is lost.

As our national health debate continues, each us can still do a lot each day to insure our own well being.

Air, food, water, clothing, and shelter are the basics. But air is the most important because without it everything else is of very little consequence.

The air inside our homes and offices is what we have the most control over. And in many cases we have controlled it to the point of not allowing fresh air in and being unable to get airborne pollutants out.

The result is a perfect haven where airborne pollutants can survive indefinitely. Airborne dust, mold and mildew spores, pet dander, bacteria and viruses are all found in the cleanest of homes. But breathing these pollutants day after day makes our homes hazards rather than havens. Eliminating these airborne pollutants is one of the first and best ways to continually protect our well being.

Without filtering the air, there is no hope of eliminating enough particles, gases, and odors to make a significant difference in our health. But by using a high efficiency particle arresting (often shortened to HEPA) air purifier that also comes with an additional filter for gases and odors, you can have a partner for good health 24 hours every day.

PurerAir.com offers such an air purifier, and the cost for cleaning the air with this medical grade air purifier is 24 cents a day. This is not just good health insurance, it’s affordable as well.

Flu Shot Alternatives

With flu season fast approaching, and pharmacies and physicians announcing the availability of the flu shot, those who are healthy now have the option to receive an extra level of protection from the flu.

But what are your options if your immune system won’t allow you to take it? What should you do if you are on medication that weakens your immunity? What if you are sick right now and your body cannot tolerate it? Or worse still, what should you do if you're allergic to the ingredients in the shot?

First, good hygiene is always a great first line of defense. Washing hands frequently, avoiding contact with those who are sick, and if you must be around those who might be contagious, wear a mask.

Second, seek help immediately if you show signs of unusual congestion, lack of energy, sore muscles, headaches or fever. The earlier the flu is treated, the better, and the fewer complications may result from it.

Third, you can take steps every day to remove airborne viruses and bacteria from your air with a medical grade HEPA air purifier. Removing airborne viruses and bacteria can greatly reduce your chances of colds and the flu catching you. Just knowing that the air is constantly being filtered of airborne contagions (as small as .3 microns) can provide enormous peace of mind.

PurerAir.com offers such a medical grade air purifier that can be your partner in good health not only during the flu season, but all year round—the HealthMate Air Purifier.

Don’t let the flu season get any closer to you or your family. See how this air purifier can help you now at http://purerair.com/healthmate_hm400.html

Removing Pet Dander Effectively

How to effectively remove pet dander is one of the most frequently asked questions on the internet today, and there’s no wonder why.

In the United States alone, 5 million homes have birds, 38 million have cats, 45 million have dogs, and 5 million own other small animals such as ferrets, bunnies, guinea pigs, mice, and hamsters. That’s a lot of love and a lot of pet dander.

If you are trying to remove dander from a space where you suspect previous owners had pets, thoroughly wipe down all surfaces with a disinfectant, have carpets professionally cleaned, and wash or dry clean any window treatments that you have inherited.

If you currently live with a pet, dander will be a factor for you and your family as long as your pet is in your home. Dander is a very natural by product of growth and development. So what do you do to get rid of the dander if you’re allergic, or just want a cleaner home?

You need an air purifier to constantly remove dander from the air. And since dander is invisible to the human eye, the air cleaner has to be able to remove sub micron size particles efficiently, and it would be an additional perk if the purifier would also remove odor.

PurerAir.com offers a high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) air purifier that will remove pet dander, hair, fur, and odor 24 hours a day every day; and this purifier is effective at removing the airborne dander from all warm blooded animals.

With the Pet Machine Air Purifier you can have your pet and keep a clean, fresh smelling house too. We also supply these units to kennels and animal shelters. That's really the acid test for whether it will be effective in your home.

A Smart Health Care Plan That Works

Taking your health care into your own hands is a take control move that will benefit you and your family immediately. Here are the top 3 things you can do that will make your health care plan a success.

Eat a Healthy Diet
—Have you ever heard the saying—you are what you eat? Well there is a lot of truth in that. A large part of preserving your health depends on the foods you eat to fuel your body. A diet that is heavy with fruits and vegetables balanced with lean meats, poultry, and fish is a good basis for a healthy diet. Foods that are high in salt and sugar should be consumed in moderation. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.

Exercise Regularly—The theme song from the movie The Penguins of Madagascar Escape to Africa has the right idea—I Like to Move It Move It! Get out of the chair or off the sofa and get moving. Do something you like to do, and you’ll find you look forward to exercise rather than dreading it or ultimately putting it off. Gardening, housework, washing the car, walking, hiking, aerobics all go a long way towards making your heart stronger, and your attitude more positive. 30 minutes of activity 4 or 5 times a week will make a noticeable difference in how you feel.

Filter Your Air With a Medical Grade HEPA Air Purifier
—Airborne pollutants can wreak havoc on respiratory conditions for those who have allergies and asthma and make it harder for those who are healthy to avoid getting sick. Letting a medical grade high efficiency particle arresting air purifier do the filtering rather than your lungs is a great way to go on the offensive with your health care.

PurerAir.com offers a HEPA air purifier that can remove airborne pollutants down to .3 microns. This same purifier also contains an additional filter that can remove gases, odors, and chemicals as well while costing you only 25 cents a day, making this part of the plan not only smart but affordable!

Reducing Airborne Bacteria and Viruses

One of the most frequent ways that bacteria and viruses spread from one person to another is by being inhaled or ingested directly from the air when someone sneezes, or coughs. They can and often do attach to particles in the air with the same results—being inhaled or ingested by the new host.

In order to effectively fight off these germs and minimize your chances of colds and flu catching you this flu season, the indoor air quite literally needs to be cleared continually.

Opening windows and doors can circulate air. And fans can do the same. But as cold weather approaches and we start to spend money to heat the air to a comfortable temperature, we will surely become less willing to throw money away by opening windows and doors and letting the heat out.

The best way to effectively, efficiently, and economically reduce airborne bacteria and viruses is by using a medical grade high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier to filter your air.

Designed to remove particles as small as .3 microns with 99.97% efficiency, a HEPA can take out household dust, mold and mildew spores, pet dander and any other particulates to which airborne contagions can attach.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has proven to be an excellent partner for good health time and time again.

Beautician Health Care Plan

Every beautician’s health care plan should include a strong offensive to hazardous working conditions that threaten their good health daily.

And as a stylist, you know better than most what those conditions are. Airborne chemicals, smoke, dyes and other salon products that make your customers beautiful can take away your good health permanently.

Gloves and aprons can shield clothes and hands from the harsh results these products can have, but what protects your lungs, nose, eyes, and mouth from them?

The only way to remove airborne chemicals that can linger in the air for hours is to remove them with a filter that is specifically designed to eliminate airborne chemicals.

Carbon based filters have proven to be the most effective in eliminating gas, odor, and chemicals, and PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has an additional compound added to the carbone that makes the filter even more effective.

Designed to clean effectively and constantly, this purifier is quiet, economical to run and made of steel. The purifier carries a 5 year warranty, and the filter has a 5 year life and carries a 5 year prorated warranty. We know of no other purifier that has a filter with a warranty of any kind!

Being insured for disaster is smart, but using this purifier cleans up the air you and your clients breathe daily, and helps you take a proactive step towards never having to cash in on your health insurance.

Take steps to stay healthy starting today, you really can't afford not to. See the purifier that should be the first line of defense for every beautician at http://purerair.com/beauty_salon_purifier.html

Home School Health

If you’ve made the decision to home school your child, you are continually looking for materials and supplies that will make the year a success for you and your child. One of the most important home school supplies should be a medical grade HEPA air purifier.

Even though home schools have way less students than private or public schools, that doesn’t necessarily mean they have less germs. If you group children in various homes to share the teaching responsibilities, or take them for field trips, or study at the library, you are all exposed to airborne contaminants that can very easily be passed from one host to the other.

Because teacher and student (parent and child) work so closely together physically, it is easy to contaminate each other, the rest of the family, and the larger home school circle.

Using an air purifier to filter airborne bacteria and viruses with a high efficiency particle arresting air purifier is a proactive way to stay healthy and lessen the severity of symptoms should cold or flu catch you or your students.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that can run 24 hours a day while costing only pennies a day. Designed to draw about the same amount of energy as a 60 watt light bulb, it is an investment that you can’t afford not to make.

Clean the air in your home school now with a partner in good health that won’t let you down.

Getting Rid of Dog Smell

If you are trying to rid your home of dog smell, you've come to the right place. Regardless of where the smell originates or why, if you’re doing an internet search for a solution and have found this page, you’re more than likely feeling that whatever you’ve tried isn’t working.

Dog smells can be caused by poor dental hygiene, ear infections, or scooting on the rug and leaving small pieces of feces in an attempt to empty anal sacs that are full. The good news is that all of these conditions can usually be handled with a trip to the veterinarian.

If your dog rolls in things he shouldn’t, you can control (maybe) when and where he has the opportunity to get into foul smelling stuff. And should that fail, you can always give him a bath.

Then there are some dogs that just smell more than others because of the oily nature of their skin. Again check with the vet about a dog approved shampoo and a schedule for frequency of bathing that will improve the smell but avoids drying out the skin.

If your pooch is expelling gas, this is sometimes an indication that he is not digesting his food adequately or that there are some other stomach issues that need addressing. Check with your vet as a change of food may be in order. Remember to change from the old food to the new food slowly to avoid further stomach upset.

If it’s urine smell you’re battling either because of incontinence of an old friend or house breaking woes of a new one, you can’t always be there to catch things in time. There are pills that a vet can prescribe for incontinence, and time will help your new friend learn the rules of the house.

If the smell is a combination of these and ones not mentioned here, there is still hope of having a home that once again smells fresh and clean when you open the door.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is small, made of steel, and has both a filter for dog hair, fur, and dander as well as one for odor—including dog urine odor; and we can have it at your door in 3 to 5 days from right now.

Beauty Salon Health—Clearing the Air in Your Shop

A visit to the beauty salon can be a life transforming event. A new cut, color, bob, curl or perm can have a very positive, and lasting impact on the self image of customers of all ages, which is probably one of the big reasons beauticians do what they do.

Unfortunately, what can also have a lasting impact on beauticians is the constant lack of healthy air quality in the salon. These same products that transform images of so many clients, can also transform beauticians’ health from good to bad.

The airborne chemicals that off gas from the hair products that are in constant use daily in the salon just hang around in the air. And unless you do something to constantly exhaust them from the air, you are putting yourself and your clients at risk.

Unless clients have existing respiratory conditions or are chemically sensitive, many are exposed for such a short period of time that they are seemingly unaffected by the odors.

Not so for those who make their living in a salon. Beauticians, manicurists, and receptionists are all affected hour after hour, day after day from constant exposure to these airborne chemicals. Those who do suffer from these conditions won't be able to tolerate the poor air quality.

But not to worry, removing them is easier than you might think. PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is specifically designed to remove, not just airborne chemicals from the air, but odors, smoke, and fine particulates down to .3 microns in size.

If you’re thinking you can’t afford to clear the air—you can’t afford not to. The cost for this air purifier to provide fresh, clean, healthy air in your salon over the next 5 years is 30 cents a day; the cost for your good health—-priceless!

Air Filter for Mold Spores

Filtering mold spores is one of the best ways to avoid problems before they start. Mold spores are a natural part of the environment and enter your home through doors windows and other opening. It is impossible to keep them out, and they are generally not a problem until they find water.

Once they find moisture, they are happy to stay and attach to the source of the moisture. For some that may be walls in the basement, under the sink, or on the tile in the bathroom. Once mold starts to grow, it is far more difficult to get rid of the problem.

If you are allergic to mold spores, they can be a constant source of sneezing, congestion, and other irritating sysmptoms.

You can avoid the worry, headaches, destruction and respiratory problems by constantly filtering the air in your home. A high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) air purifier can effectively, and economically eliminate mold spores.

PurerAir.com offers a powerful yet portable purifier that will filter mold spores 24 hours a day every day. The purifier is guaranteed to last 5 years, and the filter carries a prorated 5 year warranty as well.

The best defense against mold is a strong offense, and this medical grade air purifier with its HEPA filter can do the job.

Eliminating Gasoline Fumes

Last Thursday I had the fuel pump in my car replaced because my car wouldn’t start. I drove home and thought all was well.

At first I just smelled gasoline fumes when I opened the trunk. Of course over Labor Day weekend there was no hope of service, so I put up with the smell until Tuesday after Labor Day when I called the repair shop.

I was told that it takes about a week for the fumes to dissipate, and to give them a call at that time if the fumes were not gone. At this point it was just a moderate inconvenience so I moved all of the stuff from the trunk so that my brief case and other belongings would not smell like gasoline.

This morning I stopped at the service station to fill up, and there was no where I could go to get away from the gasoline smell. It was unbelievable. I opened the windows and drove. I closed the windows. I turned the air conditioning vents directly on me. I turned the air conditioner off and none of it made any difference. There was nothing I could do to get rid of the smell!

I had scheduled an appointment for the car tomorrow because of the fumes in the trunk, but I called and told them something had to be done now. It was making me sick to even drive the car.

So there I was up close and personal with gasoline fumes that were absolutely making me crazy. My throat was dry, my heart was racing, and my head hurt. All of these symptoms came on within minutes.

After the problem with the car was fixed, I thought my problems were over. They told me to leave the trunk open to let any remaining fumes escape. So I put the car in the garage and left the trunk open. When I went to get my brief case out of the trunk, the garage smelled like---you guessed it—gasoline! And then I started to smell the fumes in the house.

I sent my husband and daughter off to the YMCA for a couple of hours. Turned the heavy duty portable air purifier that runs all the time to the highest speed, and left the house to visit a neighbor.

Thankfully, when we all converged back at the house several hours later, the fumes were gone, at least from the house.

If you need to get rid of gasoline fumes, see the air purifier that can help you do it at

Filter for Bird Dander

Bird dander is a natural by product of a healthy bird. In their natural habitat these microscopic bits of dead skin would simply dissipate into the air without causing much of a problem,

But unless you do something to get rid of airborne dander in your home, it will cause big problems for both you and your bird.

The problems for both humans and birds begin in the respiratory system.

Birds' air passages are quite small and can become clogged easily. Without filtered air, these passages become clogged and lead to disease and infection which often shorten their life span considerably.

Humans can suffer allergic reactions to the protein found in the dander. Symptoms may present as coughing, watery eyes, and congestion, making it impossible to really enjoy your bird.

The presence of so many particles in the air can also facilitate the spread of bacteria and viruses that often travel from one host to another by attaching to pieces of dander and other normal household pollutants that are then inhaled or ingested. So a filter for bird dander is just as vital as food and water.

That’s why PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with a medical grade HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) filter that can remove bird dander as small as .3 microns from the air 24 hours a day every day and is guaranteed to last 5 years.

This filter will send 125 cubic feet of fresh, clean air to you and your birds for 43,800 hours without even one filter change. And should your filter need changing before the 5 year period is over, you can take advantage of the prorated filter warranty that is practically one of a kind in the air purification industry.

Filter bird dander from your air forever. See the Bird Dander Air Purifier now at http://purerair.com/bird_dander_air_purifier.html

Protection from Nail Varnish Fumes

Nail varnish fumes emit volatile organic chemicals into the air that can often be detected from blocks away, or at least from several stores away in a shopping mall. So if you are applying the varnish or receiving the manicure or pedicure, you’re inhaling airborne chemicals that are, at best, less than healthy.

If you work in the nail salon day in and day out, the number of fumes that you are breathing not only from the varnish, but from the polish, adhesives and other materials are increased to the point of possibly causing symptoms.

These symptoms can range from dry throat, dizziness, burning eyes and nose, watering eyes as well as more serious reactions such as vomiting and diarrhea.

Listen to your body. All of these symptoms are your body’s way of objecting to the airborne chemicals in the air that it is constantly being forced to take in through eyes, nose, and mouth.

Opening the windows may not be possible, and even so, this may not take away all of the chemicals in the air quickly enough to significantly improve the situation.

But an air purifier with a filter that is specifically designed to run 24 hours can improve the indoor air quality in your nail salon quickly and permanently.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier specifically designed to help beauticians, and nail technicians enjoy their work without sacrificing their health—short or long term.

Designed to remove airborne chemicals, and airborne particulates as small as .3 microns with its high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) filter, this purifier is not only good for your health, but good for business as well.

Back to School College Air Purifier

Staying healthy in college can be a tall order because of the sheer numbers of people to which you are constantly exposed. An air purifier for dorm living should be A number 1 on the supply list for 3 really important reasons.

1. You are not always in control of the room where your student will live. Depending on the age of the building and the care it has been given, it can range from totally fine to air quality that is less desirable, particularly if your child has respiratory issues such as allergies or asthma.

2. A cleaner with a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter is a medical grade filter that removes all kinds of particulates down to .3 microns in size. Particles such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen and others brought in by roommates and friends are all eliminated constantly.

3. Airborne germs have increased potential of spreading so quickly in this environment because of the constant exposure to people in dorms, classes, and other places on campus. Removing them from the air in the dorm room will keep the air quality healthier for your child but for their immediate circle of friends who visit the room most often as well.

PurerAir.com offers an excellent dorm room air purifier with a medical grade HEPA filter. See it now at http://purerair.com/dorm_air_purifier.html

Avoiding Inhalation of Wildfire Smoke

Long after the California wildfires in Tujunga have been extinguished, the smoke will remain. The outdoor smoke will be obvious, but the smoke that will continue to penetrate homes, offices, and other indoor spaces may be less so.

Far more people die from smoke inhalation than from burns. And smoke is an acute danger to those who already suffer from respiratory illnesses such as bronchitis, emphysema and asthma to name a few.

Breathing smoke for a healthy person can be detrimental, and minimizing your exposure and the damage to your body can be significantly improved by following these suggestions immediately.

Close your windows and doors as the fire emits airborne chemicals and fine particulates that prevent cilia in the lungs and nose from working effectively to keep air passages clean.

Use an air cleaner to filter to your air 24 hours. Military carbon cloth is particularly effective in removing the fine particulates that make smoke such an enemy to good health.

PurerAir.com offers a smoke air purifier that uses 2 sets of pre-filters for large particles that you can see, a medical grade HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) filter for sub micron size particles as small as .3 microns, as well as an inner filter of military carbon cloth.

And while you may not be able to control the amount of smoke in the air outside, you can get relief from it inside your home.
