Allergic Asthma Air Purifier

Allergic asthma can be triggered by one or a combination of triggers such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, seasonal pollens, and pet dander.

Having airways close as a defense against these irritants can range from frightening to life threatening.

One of the best ways to prevent attacks is to avoid the triggers. But as you can see from the list above, that is virtually impossible to do.

It’s true that you can schedule outdoor time for days and times of day that have the fewest number of irritants.

But indoor triggers like dust, dust mites, and pet dander are present all the time unless you take steps to get rid of them.

And since most people spend the majority of their lives indoors, it is a good idea to reduce the number of pollutants in your indoor air. Constant filtration with a HEPA air filter is most effective, yet non-invasive way to make this happen.

By definition HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filtration must remove 99,997 out of every 10,000 airborne particles that are .3 microns or greater in size. This is the same technology that hospitals use to insure clean air.

Having a medical grade HEPA purifier that can run 24 hours a day assures you that pollutant levels will be kept to a minimum thus greatly reducing the chances of an asthma attack caused by indoor triggers.

Eliminating Cat Urine Odor

Urine from cats or any other animal contains ammonia. And if you’ve ever used a window cleaner that contains ammonia in very small amounts you know how potent the smell can be.

So a large dose of cat urine can literally take your breath away when you and others enter your home.

In order to eliminate the problem, neutralizing the offending spot is the first order of business. But often it is difficult if not impossible to have access to the spot. This means that the odor continue to cause problems particularly if this is a favorite sport for your cat’s inappropriate elimination.

Using an air cleaner that can continually neutralize the ammonia smell is an effective and continual solution to the problem. Carbon filters are well known for their effectiveness in absorbing odors, and with an additive that is specifically designed to target urine odor, PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that will really solve the problem.

This purifier is currently being used in Sandra’s Second Chance Cat Sanctuary, Ferrets for Soule Shelter, Friends of Pep Shelter, and in many other commercial settings. If it works for them, it will surely work for you.

Easing Toddler Allergies

Having a toddler with allergies can be a difficult problem to deal with. Even though they are becoming more independent by the minute, they still are often unable to communicate how they feel or help you pinpoint what it is that is possibly triggering their allergies.

Most often allergies can flare because of normal household dust, dust mites that are most prevalent in the bedroom, pet dander which can be anywhere, mold and mildew spores which are a natural part of the air we breathe, as well as seasonal pollens which can invade indoor air throughout the year.

In addition to particulate irritants, toddlers can also be sensitive to lingering paint fumes from newly painted rooms, chemical fumes from pressed wood furniture or new carpet, as well as a myriad of fragrances from household cleaning and personal products.

Now that your baby is able to move about more independently, it becomes even more important to keep the number of airborne irritants that they are exposed to a minimum. Constantly filtering the air to maintain healthy indoor air quality is one of the best ways you can minimize allergies in a proactive yet non-invasive way.

The Baby’s Breath Air Purifier is designed to remove both particulate and gaseous pollutants from the air your toddler breathes. And it is designed to work towards that end 24 hours a day every day.

Air Filter Machine

The importance of clean indoor air cannot be underestimated. If the air where you spend most of your day (and for most people that’s indoors) is unhealthy, eventually you will become unhealthy too.

There are hundreds of particles, odors, gases, and chemical fumes in most people’s indoor air.

Typical particles are things like dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet dander, bacteria and viruses.

Gases and odors typically include things like perfumes from household chemicals and personal products, chemicals that off gas from pressed wood furniture, carpet, upholstered furniture and drapes.

With such a wide range of gaseous and particulate pollutants, you need an air purifier that can be effective with both.

HEPA filtration is the best type of filter to remove airborne particles. It is designed to remove 99,997 out of every 10,000 particles that are .3 microns or greater in size, hence its designation as high efficiency. Carbon filters are best at removing gases, odor and chemicals.

So any air filtering machine that you use must have both types of filters to be effective at removing both solids (particles) and gases (odors).

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that contains a 4-stage filtration process that removes both types of pollutants for only pennies a day. See it now at http://purerair.com/allergy_machine.html

Allergy Control While Breastfeeding

If you are breastfeeding your baby you are giving it one of the healthiest starts possible in life.

If you also have allergies, trying to manage them with medication can cause possible side effects for you and your baby.

It is well known that one of the best ways to control allergies is to know what the trigger is and avoid it. This is easier said than done with airborne allergies.

But one of the most proactive yet non-invasive ways to minimize allergy problems while clearing the air for your baby is to use HEPA filtration 24 hours a day.

High efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) is the same technology that hospitals use to assure clean air. This type of filtration removes allergens such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, all types of pollen, and pet dander.

This type of filter can remove particles that are as small as .3 microns in size with 99.97% efficiency. This means that for every 10,000 particles it must be able to remove 99,997. This keeps the number of triggers in the air to a minimum and lessens the need to medicate allergy symptoms.

Cat Allergy Air Purifier

If you have a cat that makes you sneeze, cough, and wheeze whenever it comes close to cuddle, more than likely you are allergic to it.

This can be devastating news if getting rid of the cat is not an option---and of course it’s not!

Most people who have symptoms such as these are allergic to the powerful protein in the cat’s dander. Dander is invisible to the human eye, and is small flakes of dead skin that your pet will shed throughout its life. These dead flakes are pushed off by newer, healthier skin that is better able to protect and defend against disease and infection.

Dander is sticky stuff so it is able to attach to your cat’s hair, and other airborne particles in your home such as dust, mold and mildew spores. Once airborne any of these particulates are available to be inhaled, and voila, chance are your allergies will flare.

One of the most reliable ways to prevent allergic reactions is to avoid or reduce exposure to the irritant. Filtering your air 24 hours a day with a filter designed to remove airborne allergens is a proactive yet non-invasive way to reduce the amount of irritants in your air and in turn your symptoms.

HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting technology is the filtration that is best suited for the problem. This is the same type of filtration that hospitals use to insure clean air.

By definition it must be able to remove airborne particles as small as .3 microns in size with 99.97% efficiency. This means that for every 10,000 particles it will remove 99,997 of them.

Eliminating Paint Fumes

Painting a space is a quick and easy way to improve a room visually. It is also one of the quickest ways to ruin air quality.

Air quality becomes unhealthy when paints off-gas volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) into the air.

The odor most frequently associated with paint is what results.

Unfortunately, these fumes contain chemicals that are unhealthy to breathe. And for those who are sensitive, they can cause headaches, dry throat, burning eyes, nausea, vomiting and other acute side effects. Ventilating the space will remove many of the initial fumes, but fumes can continue to evaporate for weeks.

Being able to continuously filter the air to remove these chemicals is the most efficient way to handle the problem. Opening windows and doors moves the air for as the long as they are open. But once you close the space again the fumes are allowed to accumulate.

Carbon is well known for its ability to absorb gases, chemicals and odors. And adding potassium iodide to the already absorbent carbon makes it incredibly effective at removing paint fumes.

Dog Urine Odor

Regardless of the reason, walking in to a home, or kennel that reeks of dog urine can be very “off putting”! And whether you have 1 dog or 21, being able to keep the air smelling fresh can be a huge challenge.

There are lots of reasons that inappropriate urination occurs. They range from as simple as not having access to the outdoors, to more serious conditions such as diabetes or kidney problems.

Being able to properly neutralize the odor is important, but often there are places that cannot be cleaned without a major re-do.

For example, if urine gets through to the sub-flooring under carpet, or soaks into the drywall, you would need to rip up the carpet, replace the sub-flooring under the carpet and take out the drywall, have it taped, and painted.

All of these are major expenses that may need to be repeated if you have a canine that is incontinent or you’re dealing with puppies that don’t understand the rules of the house.

One of the best ways to control urine smell is to filter the air with a filtration system that is specifically designed to take out urine and more specifically ammonia.

PurerAir.com offers such a purifier to dog kennels, doggie daycare facilities, and thousands of dog lovers in the United States and Canada.

Cat Dander Filter

Cat dander is dead flakes of skin that your cat is constantly shedding. They are invisible to the human eye, but if you are sensitive to the protein they contain, you don’t have to see them to know they are there.

This highly potent protein in the dander is most often what causes allergic reactions such as sneezing, coughing, watering eyes, and congestion. Unfortunately, this dander is sticky so it is regularly found on your cat’s hair as well.

Being able to remove both the hair and the dander gives you and your cat a healthy advantage. Not to mention the fact that it can be embarrassing to have cat hair every where when family, friends and neighbors come to visit.

Filtering the dander is a job made for a HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) filter because of its ability to trap small particles like dander and hair. By definition this type of filter is able to remove 99.97% of pollutants that are .3 microns or greater in size.

This type of filter will remove any particles that are .3 microns or greater in size, not just those that are cat-related. That means that it will also remove more normal types of pollutants such as household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and dander from other pets.

Hairless Air—A Pet Hair Solution

If you own a dog, cat, bunny, ferret, or other fuzzy pet, you’ve probably got more hair in your air than you ever thought possible.

And if you had a penny for every time you’ve been sitting at the table and watched hair raining down because the blower has come on for the heat or air conditioning, you would probably have enough money for a major vacation, right?

But there is good news. You no longer have to choose between hair without air, and having your pet as part of the family. By filtering the air in your home continually, you can greatly reduce not only the amount of hair in the air, but the dander (dead flakes of skin) that you can’t see.

Did you know that most people who show allergic symptoms when exposed to a pet are allergic to the dander that is almost always attached to pet hair?

By using a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that can remove airborne particles as small as .3 microns in size, you assure that hair and dander are being continually removed.

The Pet Dander Air Purifier is a HEPA air purifier that uses a 4 stage filtration process to remove not only particles that are pet-related, but more normal household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, and mold and mildew spores.

Love your pet and lose the pet hair to achieve hairless air with the air purifier from PurerAir.com at http://purerair.com/pet_dander_air_purifier.html

Clean Air For Salons

The air quality in nail and beauty salons often suffer because of the chemicals that off gas from many salon products.

Nail polish, adhesives, and hardener are just a few of many products that off gas volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) into the air.

Beauty salon products include perms, hair dyes, and other treatments that off gas ammonia, formaldehyde and other potent chemicals. As one stylist described her reaction to the fumes, “My eyes started to burn and water as if I had just peeled an onion”.

In many salons clients are wearing gas masks as various treatments are performed. And that’s a great solution for the client as long as they are wearing it. But the fumes that evaporate into the air take a while to dissipate, so others in the salon (especially the stylists) are being exposed to these fumes each time these treatments are done.

A more continuous solution for the continual problem is to remove airborne chemicals by filtering the air 24 hours a day. This reduces the amount of VOCs in the air and makes the air healthier for everyone to breathe each time they are in your salon.

PurerAir.com offers a heavy duty portable air purifier specifically designed to remove the harsh chemicals that go airborne in salons.

HEPA Purifier for Infant

Hospitals use HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filters to insure that the air is as clean as it can be for infants (and adults too).

When you bring your baby home your they can benefit from the same high level of air quality.

A portable air purifier that uses HEPA technology is just as important in your nursery at home as is the crib, clothes, and toys that stimulate.

A newly prepared nursery often contains irritants that may not bother adults, but often irritate or overtax a baby’s respiratory system that is still developing.

Paint odors, adhesive fumes from wallpaper, chemicals that off gas from newly laid carpet or pressed wood furniture can all wreak havoc without your infant being able to tell you what’s wrong.

Add the more normal household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, pet dander, pollen, mold and mildew spores, and without constant filtration, your infant’s body is forced to deal with these pollutants constantly---and not always with positive results.

Why take a chance on your baby’s health? PurerAir.com offers a rugged, portable air purifier specifically designed with infants in mind, which means you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that the air your baby is breathing is fresh, clean, and virtually pollutant free.
