Home Pet Air Purifier

If you love pets and live with warm-blooded animals in your home, no doubt you consider yourself very fortunate, and you are.  What is often not as fortunate is the extra particles they add to the mix of normal daily living.

And then there is often odor from sebaceous glands, something they rolled in or dragged in from outdoors.

And last and probably most potently there can be a urine odor problem.

Fur, hair, feathers, dust, and the invisible dander can combine to create allergen city right in your home.

Combine these pet-related pollutants to normal household stuff like dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, bacteria and viruses and you’re fighting quite a battle to maintain healthy air quality.

It is essential that an air purifier for pets not only be able to eliminate the pet-related pollutants but the normal indoor ones as well.

Multiple-sized particle filters are essential.  There should be several pre-filters that can remove the big particles that can be seen.  The unit should also contain a high efficiency particle arresting or HEPA filter to remove the invisible pollutants as small as .3 microns.

For odor a carbon-filter is a must.  And to remove the ammonia that off-gases from the urine, it should contain an additive that is specifically designed to filter the ammonia.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is specifically designed with the particles and odors that warm-blooded pets often generate.  This unit has been so effective that it is used by shelters and breeders as well as home owners.

Cosmetology School Air Purifiers

Along with cutting edge procedures in the beauty industry has come awareness and a proactive effort to keep the air healthy for those who provide and receive services.

The best way to do this is to filter out the volatile organic chemicals that off-gas from many of the products used.

Since cosmetology school is about preparing students for rising to the top in the field giving them important information about filtration is just as essential as teaching techniques for hair.

Keeping the air clean in school and class is a powerful statement about how important this aspect of service is, and it’s important to choose the right air purifiers for the job.

Carbon is essential to have as it is well-known for its ability to remove airborne chemicals.  But it needs help with the types of chemicals that typically off gas from salon products, so having an additive to enhance effectiveness is a must.

It is also important that the cleaners have filters for particles of all sizes.  Pre-filters eliminate visible particles, and a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filter will remove the invisible airborne particulates as small as .3 microns in size.

The Beauty Salon Air Purifier from PurerAir.com offers a cleaner that is specifically designed to remove VOCs as well as particles.  It is low maintenance, so need to spend valuable time cleaning, washing, spraying or interrupting the filtration.

Clean up the air in your cosmetology classes by sending for the Beauty Salon Air Purifier from PurerAir.com today at http://purerair.com/beauty_salon_purifier.html

Summer Allergy Season Tips

This year June 21 marks the official start of summer, but if you are allergic to grass pollen, mold and mildew spores or weed pollen your body may have already signaled summer’s arrival.  These symptoms can at first seem like a cold.

The stuffy nose, cough, watering eyes, and sneezing can all resemble cold symptoms.  But a cold generally lasts 5 to 10 days and is gone.  Allergy symptoms can last as long the irritant is around.

Depending on where you live the last weed pollen can hang around until the first frost in December.  That’s probably not what you wanted to hear, but it’s true.

There’s nothing to be done about the pollen outdoors.  Moving won’t help because spores can be blown for miles from where they originated.  And it’s not possible to stay indoors all the time.  So a management strategy is essential.

Stop the air exchange between indoor and outdoor air.  Use air conditioning and keep windows closed regardless of the temperature outside. Keep car windows closed as well as the vent to outside air.

Keep filters changed on the return for the central air conditioning system.  Isolate clothes and shower immediately when coming in from outside.  This will help reduce the amount of pollen that is introduced into your indoor air.

Use HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting air purifier to remove the seasonal allergens as well as the chronic indoor irritants that can combine to create havoc with allergies.

Filter For Ferret Smell

Joanie’s dad called yesterday.  She has come back from college and has a pet ferret in her room.  So not only does her room smell, but the whole house does too.

When I asked what the smell was, he said it was a combination of a musky odor and urine too.  He obviously loves his daughter, the ferret odor, not so much.

Joanie’s dad has had to learn first-hand that these animals are becoming increasingly popular as household pets.  They are intelligent, cute and small enough to fit into many people’s lives.

Without a reliable way to remove the smell, the air in any home can simply smell unpleasant at best and offensive to family and friends.

In order to reliably remove the smell these animals create, an air cleaner with a heavy duty carbon filter is necessary.  And even as effective as carbon is at eliminating odors, when it comes to urine, an additive (ammonasorb) to eliminate the strong smell of ammonia that off-gases from urine is a must.

PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner that comes with 15 pounds of activated carbon plus the ammonasorb additive.  It also contains 2 pre-filters for large and medium size particles, and a HEPA filter for microscopic particles.

That means the air is sent through a 4 stage filtration process and sends 250 cubic feet of clean smelling air back at you every 60 seconds.  And the best part is that is does not need to rest.

Ferret smell doesn’t rest and this cleaner won’t need to either.  See it now at http://purerair.com/austin_air_pet_machine.html

Eliminating Hair Salon Odor

Odor in the hair salon continues to be an issue as more salons increase the services that they offer.

Twenty years ago no one expected a hair salon to offer manicures or pedicures; and many of the new cutting edge procedures for hair were not even on the horizon.

Now the twenty-first century salon must be able to take care of the whole body.

It is ironic that many of the products that make us more beautiful make the air we breathe really ugly.

The volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) that off-gas from perms, dyes, nail polish, polish remover, hardener, hair spray and other salon products can literally make the air stink.

Those who work in these conditions often complain of dry and/or burning eyes, a hacking cough, nausea, light-headedness, and sometimes just a general lack of energy.

After being in the environment for hours the body adapts to the smell and you are no longer aware of what is causing you to feel poorly.  But customers walking in from cleaner air are literally struck by the smell.

The only way to reliably remove these chemicals is to filter the air.  In order to take out gaseous pollutants, an enhanced carbon filter that is specifically designed to remove VOCs is essential.

PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner that is designed to remove these airborne chemicals 24 hours a day.  It will go a long way towards literally making your salon a breath of fresh air.

Pets And Summer Odor

Summer brings a rise in temperature and a rise in the humidity levels both indoors and out.

An increase in the moisture inside your home can cause odors that you thought had been neutralized to start to smell again.

Mistakes made on washable surfaces can be thoroughly cleaned.  But if you have Oriental rugs, wall-to-wall carpet, or other porous flooring that cannot be cleaned fully, moisture can cause the smell to rise from the floor causing your home to smell less than fresh.

The most irritating and frustrating part about this is that it’s hard to know where the offending spot is.  And if there are multiple areas, it’s hard to know which is causing the problem.

If your pet swims or rolls in things that are less than pleasant to smell, the combination of old mistakes and new ones can really cause the air in your home to become embarrassing.

PurerAir.com offers a portable, heavy duty, carbon-based and HEPA air purifier that can effectively deal with odor, and more specifically urine odor!

Armed with a 4-stage filtration canister, this unit features 15 pounds of carbon-zeolite with an ammonasorb additive that enhances the carbon’s ability to remove the ammonia that off-gasses from the urine.
And since the carbon does not care about the source of the odor, it will also eliminate other more usual odors in your home.

The 3 particles filters in the purifier include 2 pre-filters and a medical grade HEPA that will remove hair, dander, and other microscopic particles that are .3 microns or bigger.

Pets are humans' best friends, and this purifier should be right line after that.  See the Pet Machine Air Purifier from PurerAir.com now at http://purerair.com/austin_air_pet_machine.html
