For the Love of Dogs

If you love a dog, it’s probably a really big love. Here are 4 things that you can do to let your dog know you care.

Keep Them Fit
—Most dogs will eat as much as you give them and as often as you give it too them. This is not the healthiest thing to allow your dog to do. Obesity in dogs, like humans, has devastating consequences on good health. Check with your veterinarian for weight guidelines, and keep your dog within them. Your dog will reward you by being more energetic and healthier for longer.

Exercise Regularly
—If your dog is an indoor pooch, it is doubly important to make sure it gets exercise daily. A walk with you would probably be your dog’s first choice. Frisbee, swimming, or fetching a ball might also be favorites. Don’t worry your dog will select the activity of the day by bringing the ball, Frisbee or leash to you.

Feed Your Dog Well—Feeding it well means taking great care in the portions of dog food, treats, and table scraps you offer. If the portions suggested on commercial dog food tend to make your dog heavier than it should be, try cutting the portions back gradually and adding vegetables such as organic green beans, broccoli, cherry tomatoes and other fresh foods. In many cases you will find that your dog will have more pep and fewer health issues caused by being overweight.

Make sure fresh water is always available, and if your dog drinks from the toilet be sure the water is constantly fresh. Most dogs think of it as their personal water fountain.

Clean Environment—If your dog stays mostly outside, make sure to clean up frequently so that it has the best possible living conditions. If your dog is an inside pooch, vacuum regularly to take out hair, dander, dust, and other pollutants that have fallen out of the air.

Use an air purifier designed for pets to remove airborne dog hair, dander, and odor from the air, thus reducing the amount that is able to fall to the floor. Your dog will love you for it.

PurerAir.com offers the Pet Machine Air Purifier to remove dog hair, dander, and odor from your air 24 hours every day. See it now at http://purerair.com/austin_air_pet_machine.html

Portable HEPA Air Purifier—4 Pollutants It Will Eliminate

Keeping the air clean in your home is one of the best things you can do to stay healthy. With a portable HEPA (abbreviation for high efficiency particle arresting) air purifier in your home, here are 4 airborne pollutants you can constantly avoid.

Dust
—The fine particles that make up dust range from pieces of fabric, dirt and sand from outdoors, even metal shavings from the scraping of door hinges as we open and close doors. Letting the filter in the air purifier catch it rather than breathing it into your lungs is a very healthy idea.

Dust Mites—These tiny pests make their homes in our beds. As they become airborne from normal movement, a purifier designed to remove them can snatch them from the air before they can reproduce enough to become a problem particularly for those who suffer from allergies or asthma.

Pet Dander
—A normal part of your warm blooded pet’s healthy development, it is a well known allergy trigger. Small enough to go unseen by the human eye, it will be continuously removed by the HEPA filter.

Pollen—Depending on where you live, pollen can be airborne as early as January, and weed pollen can be airborne until the first frost. There’s no way to keep it out of your home, but once it gets in filtering the air will eliminate it.

If any of these airborne pollutants are an irritation for you, PurerAir.com offers a portable HEPA air purifier that can help.

Pet Air Purifier Tips

If you have opened your heart and your home to pets, you have indoor air quality issues that those without pets can only imagine. Regardless of which warm blooded creature has claimed your heart--bird, dog, cat, ferret, or bunny to name a few, you need an air purifier that can help you with hair, fur, feathers, dander, and odor.

The following 3 features will assure you that the air cleaner is capable of removing pet related pollutants, and keep the air in your home smelling fresh and clean all the time.

Continuous cleaning is crucial. Your pets are constantly moving and sending tiny particles airborne. Filtering the air 24 hours a day every day is the only way to keep the air free of particles that can aggravate those with allergies and asthma, and carry bacteria and viruses that can cause problems for you, your family, and your pet. A purifier with a split capacitor motor means it can run safely and effectively all the time.

If your cleaner is to remove fine particles like invisible pet dander from the air, it must contain a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that can remove submicron size particles effectively. By definition a HEPA filter has to be able to remove particles as small as .3 microns with 99.97% efficiency.

And any pet air purifier should be able to address odor, including urine odor. Having a cleaner that can eliminate both particulates and odor is a cost safer. Instead of having to buy multiple cleaners, you are able to solve all of your pet related air quality issues with one purifier.

PurerAir.com can provide you with the same pet air purifier it has sent to Sandra’s Second Chance Cat Sanctuary, Wags and Wiggles Doggie Daycare, Friends of Pep Dog Shelter and hundreds of other pet lovers in the United States and Canada.

Home Air Filtration Systems

With more and more emphasis being placed on living healthier, home air filtration systems have become increasingly important in reducing the staggering number of airborne pollutants that are often found in indoor air that can ruin our health. Here are 3 best features to consider when selecting a filtration system for your home.

It needs to use HEPA technology. This is the same technology that hospitals use to insure clean air because these high efficiency particle arresting filters can remove airborne particulates as small as .3 microns. This includes common airborne household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, pet dander, bacteria and viruses.

It needs to be able to move when you do. And portable means you can take it with you. With the average family moving every 5 to 7 years, investing in a portable system that can move with you is the most cost effective way to insure clean air wherever you go. Whole house filtration systems can be expensive for you to maintain, prospective buyers may not want the added expense of maintaining it, and you can’t take it with you so you’d need to buy another filtration system for your new home.

In addition to the HEPA filter, it should also contain an inner filter that can remove gaseous pollutants such as smoke, odor, and chemicals. A purifier that contains multiple filters can multi-task making it much more cost effective than buyer a purifier for particles and another one for gases and odors.

If this sounds like an attractive solution to improving the air quality in your home, PurerAir.com offers a purifier that can remove both particulates and odors, and has a filter life and purifier warranty of 5 years.

See the video now that can show you how this American made, cost effective, and durable purifier can answer all your home filtration needs at http://purerair.com/healthmate_hm400.html

Choosing a Bird That Talks

A bird that talks isn’t a sure thing until you hear it talk. But there are certain indications that will increase the chances that your bird can learn to speak. Here are 3 factors that greatly affect that ability.

Breed—Some breeds have a better track record than others when it comes to talking. Many of the larger parrots can learn with different degrees of proficiency as well as smaller breeds like the Cockatiel, Parakeet, Lovebirds, Yellow Head Amazons, and Conures. The breed will also affect the sound of the bird’s voice. Envision your life 5 to 10 years from now and consider whether the sound of the bird’s voice is likely to still be pleasing. Considering the possibilities before you buy can save heartbreak for you and your bird later.

Age—Young birds are often able to make associations between objects and words quicker and with greater accuracy. For many birds, unless they are taught within the first couple of years, they may never learn to speak.

If you are away frequently, or are short on time for training, choosing a bird for its ability to talk may not produce the desired results. But regardless of whether they ever talk, be sure that you are ready for a long term commitment with a bird before you bring it home.

Health—A healthy, energetic, and chattering bird of the right age, gender, and breed is more likely to entertain you with its talking than a bird that is sick. Making sure their diet is healthy, droppings are cleared away daily, the bird room is kept clean, proper attention is given daily, and their air is filtered of bird dander, feathers, bacteria, viruses, and other household particles will go a long way towards producing a healthy student that may in fact announce that “Polly wants a cracker!”.

PurerAir.com offers an excellent air purifier to remove airborne particulates that often clog birds’ air passages and lead to infection and disease.

Air Cleaner for Pet Hair and Dander

If you are looking for an air cleaner for airborne pet hair, it must also be able to remove pet dander. Why? Because if hair is a problem, so is dander.

Dander is dead skin that is shed constantly as a natural and healthy process which removes old skin to make way for new skin that is better able to fight off disease and infection. This dander is sticky stuff and sticks to pet hair as it sheds. It is in fact the dander that causes allergic reactions in so many people.

So what makes a cleaner effective at removing airborne pollutants that warm blooded pets produce? The short answer is its filter.

The medical community’s HEPA filtration technology has proven to be the ultimate in removing particulates from the air. And that technology has set the standard for this air cleaner for pet hair and dander offered by PurerAir.com

A high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter is best at removing sub-micron size particles as small as .3 microns. Add a large and medium particle pre-filter to remove large particles like pet hair, and you’ve got one of the most effective air cleaners for pet hair on the market today.

In addition to pet related pollutants, its specialty blend of carbon and zeolite remove odors as well, making it a savings in time, money, and space because one air cleaner does it all. So this air cleaner has not one filter, but 4 filters!

Designed to operate safely 24 hours every day, you simply plug it in and it does the rest efficiently, economically and with maintenance so low, it’s almost no maintenance.

See how this air cleaner can let you enjoy your pet and get rid of the airborne pet hair for good at http://purerair.com/pet_dander_air_purifier.html

Canaries and Home Air Purifiers

Canaries are beautiful little birds with incredibly sensitive respiratory systems. This is a fact that was well known by miners during the last century, as Canaries were taken into mines to signal potentially fatal air quality.

If the Canaries died, the miners knew that it was time to vacate the mines because the air was no longer safe.

Canaries still have respiratory systems that are incredibly sensitive to airborne pollutants. Household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, bacteria and viruses, and especially a high concentration of their own dander in a poorly ventilated room can clog their air passages.

Clogged air passages are often forerunners of disease and infection which can greatly reduce any bird's life span.

The best way to remove airborne dander that they produce as well as other pollutants that can cause problems for you and your bird is to use a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier to remove these pollutants from your air.

By definition a HEPA air purifier has to be able to remove airborne particulates as small as .3 microns, and PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has been proven to be able to do just that.

We continue to supply the Aviary at Theater of the Sea in Islamorada, Florida with the Pet Dander Air Purifier. For an air purifier to be successful in a professional aviary is the acid test for any air cleaner.

Summertime and the Grass Pollen is Airborne

It’s summertime, and the living is supposed to be easy. But if you’re allergic to grass pollen, summer can be a trying time.

Grass is one of the most popular ground covers, and the pollen can travel for miles on a gentle breeze making it very nearly impossible to avoid.

Here are 3 tips to help you navigate successfully through summer while still having a great time.

1. Keep your immune system working at its best by getting adequate sleep, eating a balanced diet, and exercising regularly. Not only will this plan of action keep your body healthy and more able to fight off infections, but will help you have a more positive outlook and keep cool when life’s daily stresses nip at your heels.

2. If your allergies are severe, consult an allergist and get help with a management plan that can help you navigate through the season without major disruptions in work and vacation time.

3. Use a HEPA air purifier in your home that can filter airborne pollen as small as .3 microns. This makes your home a haven, and allows your body, mind, and spirit time to rejuvenate. HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting technology is the same technology the medical community uses in hospitals to provide clean air.

Purerair.com offers the Hay Fever Air Purifier which is a HEPA air purifier designed to remove not only grass pollen, but numerous other kinds of pollen that make their appearances all during the year.

Economical to run, easy to maintain with a filter life of 5 years—you’ll want to see it now at http://purerair.com/hay_fever_air_purifier.html

Eliminating Pet Urine Odor from Your Home

As much as you love your pet, you are most definitely not in love with the odors that sometimes go with sharing your home with a cat, dog, bird, ferret, or other warm blooded beauty.

Stains, odors, hair, fur, feathers, and air thick with dander are probably not what you envisioned when you brought your pet home, but they all seem to go with the territory when owning a pet—or do they?

There are things that you can do to keep your home looking and smelling fresh and clean despite your pets. Having your carpets and floors cleaned professionally on a regular basis can remove stains, hair and dander that have fallen out of the air.

And even though cleaning will help, it still won’t take away ongoing odor problems. Puddles on the floor can happen anytime, and if you’re not there to remove, clean, and neutralize the accident, you can walk into a home that reeks of urine odor and worse.

That’s why PurerAir.com offers an air purifier specifically designed with pets and their people in mind. It has a high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) filter and inner filter designed to remove pet odor, (and especially urine odor) and is one of the best innovations to come along for pets and their people in a long time

Not only will the HEPA filter in this pet air purifier eliminate airborne hair, fur, feathers and dander from cats, dogs, birds, ferrets, bunnies and others; it will also eliminate household pollutants that you would have anyway even if you didn’t have a pet.

Airborne dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, bacteria and viruses are all eliminated by the HEPA filter and will make the air in your home safer for you, your family, and your pet.

PurerAir.com offers the Pet Machine Air Purifier that does an incredible job of eliminating pet odor 24 hours every day. See it now at http://purerair.com/austin_air_pet_machine.html

3 Tips for Living Healthier

We all want to make the most of our lives, and taking good care of your body will increase your chances of staying healthy and living a long and happy life.

Staying healthy can seem like a tall order when dealing with the stress of daily living, action packed schedules of careers and family, a world of remotes, fast foods, and other unhealthy habits.

But here are 3 little things that you can do daily that will make a big difference in helping you live healthier.

First, always remember you are what you eat. So be sure that your diet includes fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meat and fish (unless you are vegetarian or vegan), high fiber pastas and grains, low fat versions of milk and cheeses. Limit foods that are high in sugar and salt. And probably the biggest difference you can make immediately is to reduce the size of your portions.

Stay physical and keep your metabolism high by walking up and down the stairs, parking farther from the store, or working in the garden, bicycling, jogging, walking the dog, or dancing with the vacuum. It all counts towards keeping your heart healthy.

Insist on fresh air. And even though it’s third on this list, it’s number one in terms of what your body needs to function properly. Indoor air can be the most contaminated air to breathe because our homes are so well insulated. Once pollutants enter, there is literally no way out. Don’t let these contaminants create an unhealthy environment that stops you from living life to the fullest.

Filter your air by using a portable high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier that will remove harmful indoor airborne pollutants that can cause respiratory problems and aggravate existing allergies and asthma.

Make it your partner for healthier living, and see how it can work for you now at http://purerair.com/healthmate_hm400.html

Varnish Fumes in the Air

Eleanor called in the middle of the day again Sunday after ordering her purifier Friday evening. She wanted to know if we would overnight her purifier to her so it could arrive ASAP. She said she didn’t know how much longer she could take the smell of the varnish the landlord had painted on the door of her apartment.

The smell is so strong that she said she could taste it in her mouth. She seemed to think the fumes were so strong because not only is the varnish protecting the wood, but it is designed to serve as a fire retardant as well.

Many varnishes state on the can that they can cause brain and nerve damage and even death. And it’s pretty scary to think that there are many who find themselves in similar situations to Eleanor.

Chemical fumes from varnish can cause a variety of acute symptoms that range from dry throat, throbbing headache and dizziness to extreme cases of nausea, vomiting, and worse.

If you find yourself in a situation that forces you to breathe in these fumes, you are in a tough spot. And many times prolonged exposure to the fumes may even cause a slight disorientation.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has a filter that will remove airborne chemicals that result from varnish and other volatile organic chemicals found in paints, adhesives, acrylics, and solvents.

Don’t wait a moment longer to restore the air quality in your home or office. See the purifier that can stand up to these fumes and eliminate them.

Help is on the way to Eleanor in the form of the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier, and it can help you as well. See it now at http://purerair.com/healthmate_plus.html

Air Purifier for Cancer Patients

Helping your body stay strong is one way you can stay in control when battling cancer. Medication and treatments are necessary, but often make you feel sick initially and can sometimes lower the body’s immunity. This makes fighting infection difficult and leaves your body open to disease and infections that a healthy immune system would otherwise be able to handle.

An air purifier is an effective way to decrease the number of airborne viruses, germs and bacteria that are present in your air. Not only do fewer germs allow your body to recuperate and regenerate, but it just helps you feel better.

And since you most likely have family and love ones who are going through this with you, their stress levels can remain high because of their concern and care for you. Higher stress levels lower their immunity as well and make it easy for colds and viruses to take hold of them, making them contagious to you.

A high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier can remove airborne germs as small as .3 microns with 99.97% accuracy. This is the same technology used in hospitals to insure clean air.

In addition to bacteria, and viruses, a HEPA air cleaner will also take out other household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and pet dander—all of which can aggravate existing respiratory conditions. These are also the very particulates that many bacteria and viruses attach to in order to travel from one host to another.

Filtering your air 24 hours every day gives you fresher, cleaner air to breathe, and there is really no down side to that.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that will help clear the air for those whose immune systems are compromised because of cancer and its treatments, or for any other reason.

Reducing Indoor Paint Fumes

Paint is amazing in its ability to change the appearance of walls from old to new, dirty to clean, and dull to exciting. What is equally amazing is the number of volatile organic chemicals that some paints can off gas into your indoor air.

Whether the paint has been applied in your office or home, paint fumes can literally be nauseating. Indications that paint fumes are causing problems can range from a throbbing headache, dizziness, burning eyes, dry throat to, in severe cases, vomiting and worse.

The best way to reduce indoor paint fumes is to use low or no VOC paint. This gives you the freedom to colorize any space without being exposed to the vapors. And this is an effective way to avoid ever having a problem if you are in control of the paint.

Many times your office, apartment, or new home is decorated without any input from you, and this often forces you to be exposed to airborne chemicals from paint that can off gas for months.

Opening windows and doors can help some, but often lets in other undesirable pollutants such as gasoline or diesel fumes from traffic, pollen, dust and possibly many others depending on where you live. It can also let out the heat or air conditioning which makes this an expensive solution.

The best way to clear the air in your home or office and restore clean air is to do just that—clear the air by cleaning it. An air purifier with a filter designed to eliminate airborne chemicals from paint is an economical, efficient and low maintenance way to deal with the problem.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that not only eliminates chemical vapors, but has a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that eliminates fine particulates down to .3 microns.

You may not have been in control of the paint, but you can restore healthy air quality. See how this purifier can help at http://purerair.com/healthmate_plus.html

Indoor Airborne Chemical Hot Spots

Airborne chemicals are a natural part of the environment, but what becomes unnatural, unhealthy, and dangerous are airborne chemicals that get trapped indoors with no way out. This makes each breath a potential health risk.

And even though these fumes are often invisible, your body knows they're there. Reactions include but are not limited to burning eyes, sore or raspy throat, nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Here are 5 places where airborne chemicals often reach unhealthy levels and an effective solution for taking them out.

The beauty salon
can get inundated with airborne chemicals from perms, sprays, dyes, and smoke. And the levels increase exponentially with the number of stylists in the shop.

Nail salons
can often be smelled from great distances because of the number of potent polishes, hardeners, and acrylics used to make nails and toe nails beautiful. Add the fine particulates that go airborne when sanding nails and the air becomes heavy with contaminants.

Mobile homes can often off gas large amounts of airborne chemicals. Formaldehyde, adhesives, epoxy, resins, and volatile organic chemicals in synthetic materials are often found in unhealthy levels. And because ventilation is often poor, these spaces can become hard to live in.

Fine art studios can become a haven for chemicals that off gas from oil paints, acrylics, and solvents used to clean brushes and work areas.

Garages and garages used for workshops can be the source of diesel and gasoline fumes as well as fumes from paints, varnishes, and other chemicals that have been stored there to be outside the living space. If there are a number of chemicals like these stored in your garage, spending a lot of time there may put your health at risk.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with a filter specifically designed to remove airborne chemicals from the air in situations such as these. This cleaner is an effective and economical way to restore healthy indoor air quality and preserve your health.

Air Purification for Babies

Everything about babies makes us instinctively want to protect them. And that instinct is a good thing because they need it.

Their systems are not fully developed and so great care needs to be taken to foster proper growth and development.

The respiratory system is one of the most important systems because it provides the necessary oxygen that the baby needs not only to survive from one breath to the next, but to develop properly. A lack of oxygen or oxygen filled with airborne contaminants can lead to serious physical and mental problems.

And even though the air may look clean in your home, there are numerous airborne pollutants that are invisible to the naked eye that can invade even the cleanest home. Adults may not be bothered by these pollutants, but to the respiratory system of an infant, they can wreak havoc and cause congestion, irritability, and an inability to sleep.

There is a way to keep your baby out of harm’s way, and to put your mind at ease 24 hours, and that is to purify your baby’s air. This means using a high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) air purifier that is capable of removing irritants such as household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, airborne chemicals from paint, wallpaper, carpet, or new furniture, as well as bacteria and viruses.

A HEPA air purifier is able to remove particles as small as .3 microns and a purifier that also includes an inner filter to remove the airborne chemicals gases and odors eliminates the most pollutants for the money.

Give your baby every advantage by purifying the air in your home and eliminating particulates, gases, and odors that can interfere with proper development, and hasten the onset of pediatric allergies and asthma.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier designed with the good health of your baby in mind. See how it can work to keep your baby's air healthy at http://purerair.com/babys_breath.html

Pet Urine Odor Air Purifier

If you are struggling with pet odor from a cat, dog, ferret, bird, bunny or other warm blooded pet, you may be wondering if there really is a solution that works.

And if urine odor is the problem, you may be having an even tougher time finding and or neutralizing the spots fast enough to keep the air in your home fresh.

How can you deal with the problem safely yet effectively? One of the best ways to get rid of the odor for good is to select an air purifier with the following 3 features.

First, the make up of the filter needs to be specifically designed to be effective against urine odor. Read the fine print in the technical specifications to be sure.

Second, the purifier needs to be able to run all the time whether you are home or away. Accidents can happen any time, and having a purifier at work all the time gives you added protection against embarrassing smells.

Third, the filter life should be substantial to avoid frequent and costly replacements. A 5 year filter life makes filtration economical and low maintenance.

You’re probably wondering if there really is such a purifier. The answer is yes. PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner that is designed with pets and their owners in mind.

Safe for pets and humans, it is cheap insurance against what is often an expensive problem to fix.

Pet Dander in Your Home

If your pet has the freedom to explore your home, and it is a warm-blooded pet such as a cat, dog, ferret, bunny, or bird, you have pet dander. And you, more than likely, have pet dander all over your home.

Pet dander is flakes of dead skin that are constantly being shed as they are replaced by newer skin that is more able to help the immune system fight off infection and disease.

And although your pet’s hair and fur are very visible, pet dander is too small to be seen by the human eye. However, the protein in the dander is one of the most potent allergens for those who suffer with allergies and asthma.

Dander can be sent airborne by your pet as it goes about its normal routine, or you can stir it up as you walk, dust, or even make the bed.

Without some serious attention to dander, it becomes a catch 22 situation in which the dander never really gets taken out of the air; it simply gets circulated again and again.

How do you take pet dander out of the air in your home? This can be effectively accomplished by using high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filtration. Designed to remove both visible and invisible particles down to .3 microns with 99.97% efficiency, HEPA filtration is the same technology the medical community uses in hospitals to insure clean air.

The added bonus with this type of filtration is that it will also remove other common household pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, and bacteria and viruses.

Put this pet dander air purifier to work in your home today. See it now at http://purerair.com/pet_dander_air_purifier.html

Bird Dander Removal Tips

Your pet bird is a constant source of dander which is the skin’s way of getting rid of dead skin that is no longer effective at keeping germs and infections away. In the wild bird dander would not be a problem for either you or bird.

In the wild the dander would dissipate and never become thick enough to clog bird air passages. In your home, dander often accumulates and the count gets high enough to cause problems for everyone.

If you are allergic, it is the protein in the dander that can cause your body to react by trying to eject these minute particles with sneezing, watery eyes, and coughing.

Bathing your bird is an excellent and natural way to reduce dander. A shower perch is an effective way to let your bird enjoy a bird bath and will keep its skin healthy. Another alternative is to provide a small bowl of water in the cage (in addition to the water dish) that will allow your bird to enjoy bathing.

Frequent cleaning of the floor and walls with a damp cloth or mop, and vacuuming with a cleaner that has a HEPA filter will remove dander that has already fallen to the floor.

A HEPA (or high efficiency particle arresting) air purifier will remove dander and other pollutants that often clog bird’s air passages. And clogged airways often lead to disease and infection which can seriously diminish life span.

Your Child’s Air

One of the best things you can give to your child is a home filled with clean, fresh air. Unfortunately, how clean you keep your house has very little to do with keeping your child’s air clean.

There are so many factors that we have very little control over. Household dust is generated by minute pieces of fabric, dust and sand blown in from the outdoors through windows and doors are just of the few ways that dust accumulates.

Dust mites are impossible to get rid of and make their home in your child’s bed. They multiply easily, and while they are invisible to the naked eye, they wreak havoc with a child with allergies and asthma. A dust mite population that goes unchecked is more likely to increase the chances of the onset of asthma in children.

Regardless of where you live, there is pollination occuring. Whether it’s the trees in early spring, grass in the summer months, or weeds in the fall, airborne pollen is available to enter your home through every portal. If your child is allergic, even your home is not safe from it.

A home with pets is a great place experience for children. If, however, pet dander aggravates pediatric allergies, asthma or other respiratory conditions, having to give up a pet to get rid of pet dander is an excruciating choice to have to make.

Your child is exposed to hundred of germs in day care, preschool, or full day school, and bringing these germs home by sneezing and coughing them into the air exposes everyone in your home to the germs.

But there is a way to provide your child and your family with clean air in your home 24 hours every day. An air cleaner with a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filter can take out dust, dust mites, pollen, pet dander, as well as bacteria and viruses as small as .3 microns.

Pet Odor Causes and Solutions

Pet odor can result from a variety of sources. Here are the most common reasons that pet odor becomes a problem for many pet owners.

The number of pets you have can greatly increase odor particularly if air is circulated rather than exchanged. Opening your home to many animals makes it harder to clean frequently and thoroughly enough to keep the space smelling fresh.

As animals grow older incontinence often becomes an issue. In many cases your pet is just as horrified as you are that something bladder control that you both have taken for granted has now become a physical problem that may worsen to the point of needing medication to control. Incontinence causes frequent mistakes on rugs and carpets that may go unnoticed except for the smell. And unless you’re there when the mistake happens, it often dries leaving only the smell behind.

Poor dental health can cause bad breath, and left unchecked can lead to more serious problems including infections that are serious enough to warrant the use of antibiotics. The smell of its breath can spread throughout your home.

Many animals enjoy rolling in what we consider foul smelling things. This does nothing for the aroma that can be waiting when you open the door to home.

There is a way to keep your home smelling fresh and clean regardless of the source of pet odor—the Pet Machine Air Purifier.

Designed with warm-blooded pets in mind, it clears away pet odors including urine odor that can be so daunting to eliminate. This purifier also has a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that can eliminate hair, fur, and the allergy provoking and invisible pet dander.
