Eliminating Library Book Dust in the Depository

The library book depository contains hundreds of stacks of books that are waiting to be put back in their places on library shelves after repair, or being lent out.

But each one of those books often carries more than the story written inside; they often carry dust and airborne pollutants that have settled on them while they were away from the library.

When books are lent out, they often find themselves on the floor beside the bed, underneath chairs, in back packs and even outside in the grass on nice days. This exposes the book and its pages to all kinds of invisible (to the naked eye) pollutants. Household dust, pollen, pet dander, mold and mildew spores are just a few of the pollutants that can travel with the book back to the book depository.

Combine hundreds of these books at a time in the depository, and these particles go airborne as the pages of the books are examined to verify that they are still in good condition, when they are moved for categorization, and when they are placed on the cart for their return to the library shelves.

Breathing air that contains such huge amounts of particulates daily is not good even for a person that does not have respiratory problems. And daily exposure over years of a library career can increase the chances of respiratory problems developing such as asthma and allergies.

Using a portable high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) air purifier is an excellent way to keep air quality healthy by constantly eliminating the airborne dust and other pollutants that thicken the air in the library book depository. A HEPA air purifier will remove 99.97% of particulates down to .3 microns quietly, and efficiently.

99.97% efficiency means that for every 10,000 particles, 99,997 of them will be eliminated from the air.

One of the biggest libraries we supply is the Fenwick Library at George Mason University in Virginia. If the HealthMate Air Purifier works for them, it can work in your library too.

Grass Pollen Allergies—A 4 Step Plan for Management

If spring has sprung where you live, grass pollination is not far behind. And if you suffer from grass allergies your enjoyment of spring and summer are dependent of your finding a way to manage your grass pollen allergies. Here are 4 non-invasive ways to help you do just that.

1. Get someone else to cut and manage your lawn if your basic ground cover is grass. Avoid being out doors when the grass is cut and immediately afterwards. If you don’t want to turn your lawn’s management over to someone else, be sure to wear a HEPA mask when cutting the grass. Take off your shoes and clothes immediately before tracking through the house, and put your clothes in the washer. Take a shower to rid your hair and skin of any remaining pollen.

2.
Pollen is most easily spread on dry, windy days. Look at the pollen count daily and schedule outdoor activities when the pollen count is low. A good rain can clear the air and clear the way for you to enjoy outdoor activities without triggering allergy symptoms.

3. Keep doors and windows closed and use air conditioning to keep the temperature comfortable. When entering and leaving your home, use doors that open on spaces other than your main living areas. Garage doors, mud room doors, enclosed porch doors can all put some distance between the grass pollen and areas of the house where you spend the most time.

4. Regardless of how careful you are, pollen will still get into your home. It’s just a fact of life. Using a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) air purifier that is designed to filter pollen is a non-invasive and proactive step to take towards managing grass pollen allergies.

And one of the best benefits is that it removes any type of pollen down to .3 microns as well as other common household pollutants. So not only does it effectively manage your grass pollen allergies, but it give you cleaner and healthier indoor air every day of the year.

See the HEPA air purifier that can help you manage your grass pollen allergies now at http://purerair.com/hay_fever_air_purifier.html

Parrots and People Food—3 Foods to Avoid Giving Your Parrot

A large part of keeping your pet parrot healthy depends on the food you feed it. The old adage--“You are what you eat” is true for birds as well. There are lots of great foods that your parrot will thrive on.

Organic foods such as fruits, leafy green vegetables, as well as foods that are high in beta carotene will yield a happy healthy parrot that is energetic with dazzling plumage. And of course parrots are more than willing to tell you what foods they prefer when they exclaim, “Polly wants a cracker”!

However, there are foods that are extremely harmful when ingested by parrots, and here a 3 to be sure to avoid.

Avocado—Is great for guacamole for humans, but the persin in avocados has been shown to be fatal to birds.

Chocolate—This yummy sweet for humans contains Theobromine which in birds causes hyperactivity, heart arrhythmias, and ultimately death.

Peanuts—These don’t often make the list of harmful bird foods, but beware. There is a fungus that grows on some unshelled peanuts that cause death within 24 to 48 hours. It is hard to know which peanuts have the fungus, and once your bird eats them there is very little the vet can do.

Because birds are programmed to hide illnesses often it is too late to save them by the time the symptoms are evident.

Be sure to put these foods in a place that your bird cannot get into. And if your bird is enjoying time outside the cage, be careful that you put any of these foods away before leaving the room for even the shortest time. This will help keep your bird safe, and healthy.

Another way to keep your bird healthy is to clear the air of the increased amount of airborne particulates that result from having a bird in your home. Clear air passages are one of the best ways for your bird to avoid disease and infections.

The Bird Dander Air Purifier is designed to remove airborne pollutants such as bird dust, feathers, and bird dander leaving the air clean for your parrot 24 hours a day.

Clean air means clear air passages for your parrot which will help insure that you spend many happy, healthy years together. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dander_air_purifier.html

Grass Allergy Solutions

Grass allergies present their symptoms in early spring through summer. And if the grass has greened in your area, and you are sneezing, coughing and constantly wiping a runny nose and watery eyes, you may well be one of the millions who suffer through the grass allergy season each year.

Grass pollination triggers the onset of most people's grass allergies, and your climate will determine exactly when that happens. Many of the symptoms are the same as those for hay fever. Here are a few things that you can do to take back control of your life during grass allergy season.

Keep windows and doors closed in your home and car to cut down on the amount of pollen that is able to affect your indoor air. If you have a garage, use it to enter your home. That keeps your living space from being directly exposed to the outside air, and cuts down on the amount of pollen that can blow in.

Keep your lawn cut short. This will cut down on the amount of pollen produced by your lawn.

Let someone else do the mowing. And arrange your schedule so that you can be inside or away while the grass is being cut.

Use an air purifier to filter the pollen that manages to find its way inside your home. Even if you take every precaution, pollen will find its way into your home on packages, pets, in your hair, and when opening and closing doors to the outside.

Since most of us spend a large amount of time indoors, having an air purifier to eliminate pollen from your indoor air will make you comfortable for much of the season.

PurerAir.com offers an excellent air purifier to remove airborne grass pollen from your indoor air—the Hay Fever Air Purifier. See what relief looks like at http://purerair.com/hay_fever_air_purifier.html

Red Throated Conure—3 Tips for Care

The Red Throated Conure Parrot (also referred to as the Red Throated Parakeet, or the Orange Throated Conure) is a very beautiful and rare pet parrot.

If you are lucky enough to own one of these beautiful parrots, here are 3 tips for care that will insure a long and happy life for your Red Throated beauty.

Provide an opportunity daily for them to bathe. You can do this by misting them with warm water, or setting a small bowl of water in their cage. A shower perch is also an excellent way to have them bathe and to spend time with you as well. Make sure to place your shower perch away from the main stream of water and adjust the water to produce a very fine mist.

Clean up droppings as often as necessary to keep their cage clean, and prevent dried dropping from going airborne, being inhaled by birds and humans, and possibly causing disease and infections for both you and your birds.

Keep dander and airborne pollutants low by filtering their air with a high efficiency particle arresting air purifier. You and your birds are exposed to far more airborne pollutants in your bird room than is normal for either of you. Constant filtration makes the air healthier to breathe.

An excellent HEPA air purifier to remove dander, feathers, dust and other airborne pollutants from your Red Throated Conure’s air is offered by PurerAir.com—the Bird Dander Air Purifier.

See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dander_air_purifier.html or call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989.

Summer Indoor Air Quality—Raise Air Quality by Eliminating Indoor Pollutants

Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer for many of us. Pools open, amusement parks expand their hours, picnics and outdoor barbecues become standard fare, schools close, and for many, the weather turns wicked hot.

If you live in a climate where summer is extreme in its temperatures, it is important that your indoor air quality remain high as you retreat indoors from the heat. Just as in winter, for many summer means keeping windows and doors closed, and the air conditioning set to keep the indoor temperature cool and comfortable.

But unless you do something, closing windows and doors regardless of the temperature outside can often mean re-circulating pollutants that find their way indoors on packages, in hair, on pets, and on air currents that blow in while you are entering and leaving your home.

An effective, efficient, low maintenance, and cost effective way to keep indoor air quality high regardless of the temperature outside is by using a portable high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) air purifier in your home.

These small, compact, but powerful air purifiers can remove everything your home can throw at it such as household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet dander, odors, as well as bacteria and viruses. It removes these pollutants with 99.97% efficiency down to .3 microns in size, and will be your partner in good health, not only in the summer, but all during the year.

PurerAir.com offers such a HEPA air purifier. And its name says it all—the HealthMate. Designed to clean areas up to 1500 square feet, it comes with a 5 year guarantee and a 5 year filter life as well. This saves you time and money from costly and frequent filter changes. In addition to the guarantee on the purifier, the filter also carries a 5 year prorated warranty that guarantees you'll get 5 years out of the filter.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and ask for the HealthMate Air Purifier. Make it your partner for good health, not just in the summer, but all year long. You’ll be glad you did!

Happy Memorial Day!

Improving Cosmetology School Air Quality

Cosmetology schools are responsible for turning out thousands of new beauticians each year who are excited and qualified to make us as beautiful as we can be.

But as they learn to give perms, apply color and highlights, use the hot irons and curlers, the air quality in any cosmetology school suffers.

Often the door is kept open and the smell wafts through the rest of the school creating a smell that is neither pleasant nor healthy.

These odors result from volatile organic chemicals found in the many of the products used. Multiply the fumes by 10 or 20 students who are all learning to give perms, and everyone in the room is being exposed to a myriad of airborne chemicals daily.

Opening the door simply allows the chemical to travel throughout the school rather than eliminating them, and fans simply blow the chemicals around. In order to effectively remove airborne chemicals, you need an air purifier whose filter is specifically designed to remove chemicals.

PurerAir.com offers the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier that uses activated carbon plus potassium iodide to effectively trap and eliminate airborne chemicals.

It is also effective in removing chemicals that result from training to give manicures and pedicures.

And while learning about hair and nails is important in cosmetology school, learning about how to keep air quality high is just as important, as these students prepare to spend their lives in an environment where airborne chemicals are prevalent.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and clean up the air in your cosmetology school for both the students and teachers by asking for the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier.

Modeling good habits matters, and modeling healthy air quality may well be one of the best things a young beautician learns in cosmetology school.

Avoid Airborne Chemicals in Cleaning Solutions—3 Recipes for Success

Many cleaning products contain chemicals that are harsh at best, and send airborne chemicals into the air that are unhealthy to breathe, and can leave those with chemical sensitivity gasping for breath.

The side effects and health risks that are listed on the labels of many of these cleaning products have become scary enough to send many people looking for alternative products.

After our recent blog entry about removing airborne chemicals with an air purifier, a very savvy working mom wrote in to tell us how she is really getting back to basics with the cleaning products she uses in her home. Not only is it good for her baby, her family and the environment, but as she says “it saving me a ton of money!”

Here are 3 recipes for cleaning products that work without the chemicals and the unhealthy odors that they often emit. Erin wrote:

Ok – I’ve been talking to some of you about my new policy of not using ANY harsh chemicals in my house to clean with. I’ve found that these actually work better and are saving me a ton of money!!!

1. I make my own all purpose cleaner
¼ cup Borax
¼ Lemon Juice
2 cups Hot water
Put these in a spray bottle and shake, and you’re good to go – this works SO well. Usually I have to really scrub my stainless steel and chrome faucets to get the hard water stains off. This mixture makes them sparkle with barely any elbow grease. Oh, and on a side note, after cleaning with this the other day my fingernails were really whitened (you know how they can get kind of yellowed from nail polish?), that was a very pleasant side effect I didn’t know about!!

2. If you want to get your tub whiter fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mix of water and peroxide, spray on the tub, let it sit for a few minutes then wipe down. Or you can make a paste of baking soda and lemon juice and use it like a cleanser.

3. I mop with a solution of white vinegar and water. It makes the floor really shine. Don’t worry about the vinegar smell. It’s gone as soon as the floor dries.

Remove airborne chemicals from other sources in your home by calling PurerAir.com and asking for the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier. Keep chemicals out of your air for good!

Eliminate Paint Fumes From Your Air

Paint is a relatively cheap way to spruce up your home or office, and usually takes very little time to do.

But depending on the kind of paint used, the paint fumes that off gas often take quite a long time to fully evaporate, and off gassing in the newly painted areas forces those who live or work in that environment to breathe paint fumes for a prolonged period of time.

Since paint that contains volatile organic chemicals is responsible for this off gassing, it makes perfect sense to use a paint that has low or no VOCs. But after the space has been painted using paint that contains these volatile organic chemicals, short of painting the room again, or leaving your home or office for a month, how do you eliminate paint fumes from your air? A chemical air purifier is a practical and effective way to eliminate paint fumes from your home or office.

In order for an air purifier to be effective against paint fumes, at least one of its filters needs to be designed to target and remove airborne chemicals including those that off gas from paint.

If you also choose a purifier that is designed to remove sub micron size particulates, you gain even more of advantage by cleaning normal pollutants that are common in the air of well insulated homes and offices—particulates such as household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, pet dander, bacteria, and viruses all down to .3 microns. This means your purifier continues to be useful after the paint fumes have subsided.

By using 4 filters within one easy-to-change canister, the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier offered by PurerAir.com scrubs your air of both chemicals and particles with 2 complete room changes twice each hour, 24 hours each day. Its filter life is 5 years, it carries a 5 year prorated warranty as well!

This continuous cleaning keeps your air quality high, and preserves the health of those who live and/or work in the newly painted space.

Call PurerAir.com at (800) 997-2989 and ask for the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier. Eliminate paint fumes for good!

Chemical Sensitivity to Product Fragrances

Chemical sensitivity to product fragrances can range from annoying to almost debilitating for someone whose body reacts defensively with coughing, sneezing, watering eyes, congestion, headache, and extreme cases vomiting, and dizziness.

We had an unexpected incident with product fragrances in our home last night at bath time. I bought a new body wash for my daughter to add to her bath because it was advertised as making more bubbles in the water. Well, it created a lot of bubbles and more. The bubbles were wonderful, but it produced quite a strong fragrance that lingered for along time after her bath.

Luckily my daughter was not affected and had a great bath, but I was amazed at how potent the fragrance was. Had she suffered from chemical sensitivity to product fragrances, we would have been in big trouble in no time flat.

As careful as we all try to be, we can’t always catch every product that might irritate someone with chemical sensitivities. That’s why using an air purifier to remove fragrances can give anyone with chemical sensitivity to product fragrances a real advantage.

It doesn’t matter whether the fragrance comes from laundry detergents, cleaning products, toiletries, cosmetics or even fire retardant chemicals that are sprayed on clothing, upholstery, or draperies. Removing these airborne chemicals with an air purifier that has a filter designed to specifically target chemicals can prevent you and those in your family from being unexpectedly derailed by these invasive product fragrances.

PurerAir.com offers the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier that can remove airborne chemicals as well as sub micron size particulates, and will completely clean the air in a space up to 1500 square feet twice each hour.

Don’t let chemical sensitivity to product fragrances disrupt your home life ever again. Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and ask for the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier. Then you can relax knowing your air is as clean as it can be!

Living with Pet Allergies

If you have pets, but also suffer with pet allergies whose symptoms are brought on by dander, you probably bemoan the fact that you seemingly can’t live with your pet and don’t want to live without him.

If you have pet allergies 99% of the time it is the protein in the dander that causes your body to go into overdrive with sneezing, coughing, watery eyes, and a congested nose. So whether you have a cat, dog, bird, or ferret, dander is a very natural, healthy, and ongoing process for all warm blooded pets, thus your pet allergies will stay with you as long as you have your pet unless you do something.

So what can be done to help you really enjoy every moment of your pet’s life, and not be totally miserable with pet allergies?

• Ask your vet about the feasibility of bathing your pet. And if that’s a possibility to recommend one or more shampoos that will keep the dander down and your pet’s skin healthy.

• Gradually shift from upholstery, draperies, and carpet to surfaces that are easier to clean and less able to hide the invisible dander.

• Use a high efficiency particle arresting or (HEPA) air filter whose filter is specifically designed to remove dander and other pollutants down to an invisible .3 microns.

PurerAir.com offers such a purifier called the Pet Dander Air Purifier. It will help alleviate symptoms from not only pet allergies but from allergies and asthma triggered by household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen as well as bacteria and viruses.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and ask for the Pet Dander Air Purifier. It will help you enjoy your pet more because you’ve got your pet allergies under control for good.

Removing Airborne Chemicals and Improving Indoor Air Quality

Improving indoor air quality is all about removing harmful airborne chemicals, particulates, and gases that compete with oxygen levels that are so vital for the good health of all who live indoors with us.

This improvement must first start as an awareness of products that we introduce into our homes and how they might constantly be reducing our air quality to an unhealthy state.

What we are finding is that furniture, carpets, upholstery, mattresses, drywall, varnishes, adhesives and other products that tend to off gas chemicals into homes and offices are also bad for the earth. So by choosing products that are healthier for us to live around, we are also choosing to help the earth by supporting, with our dollars, those products that are healthy and allow our indoor air quality to remain high.

The process of surrounding ourselves with healthy things may take a while financially as most of us cannot just go out and redo furnishings and the infrastructure of our homes and offices overnight. But by gradually replacing products that off gas unhealthy chemicals into the air with earthy friendly, people friendly products, we can live in indoor environments that are healthy and invigorating rather than stale and toxic.

As you gradually turn indoor air quality around by replacing big ticket items, using an air purifier that is designed to remove airborne chemicals is an inexpensive and earth friendly way to improve your indoor air quality now.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and ask for the HealthMate Plus Air Purifier which is designed for home and office use, and remove airborne chemicals from your air starting today!

Pets and Indoor Smoke

Studies continue to show how damaging smoke is for humans to breathe, and it also extremely damaging and in many cases fatal for pets to breathe as well.

Since smoke is made up of not only gases, but millions of fine particulates; once those particles fall to the ground, your cat, dog, ferret, bunny and any other pet that spends a lot of time lying on your floor, chair, or bed is up close and personal with these particulates that have finally fallen out of the air. And obviously, breathing these pollutants hour after hour, day after day is bad news. And worse still, unless they are allowed outside, there is no escape.

Birds are also extremely susceptible to odors, gases, and particulates. Birds’ respiratory systems are far more sensitive than humans, and when they breathe in these gases and particulates, they are carried very efficiently into the lungs, which can often prove fatal.

Clogging their air passages with anything include particulates from smoke or even household dust, bird dander, or bird dust increases their chances of disease and infection and shortens their life span considerably.

Our pets depend on us to provide the very best in food, air quality, and quality of life. Using a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) air purifier can make a real difference in how long and how well your pet lives.

Filtering the air in your home 24 hours a day removes the particulates and gases that result because of smoke, and make their home a safer place to be.

We offer a Bird Dander Air Purifier that is designed to remove particulates down to .3 microns, but if smoke is your main concern, we recommend the Smoke Air Purifier which contains military carbon cloth that is particularly effective in removing smoke from the air.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and let the Smoke Air Purifier clean up the air in your home for both your pets and you!

Healthy Air Healthy Bird

If you have a pet bird as part of your family, one of the best ways to insure a healthy bird and increase your bird’s life span is to make sure it has healthy air to breathe.

This may at first seem like a no-brainer, but unless you constantly filter the air to remove bird dander, dust, feathers, and other small particulates that result with your bird’s normal activities, the air becomes thick and unhealthy for both you and your bird. So removing these particulates is essential in keeping your indoor air healthy.

Parrots in particular are susceptible to diseases (such as psittacosis) that infect other birds (and sometimes humans) by attaching to these airborne particles that are then inhaled or ingested.

And because birds’ air passages are so small they can easily becomes clogged when exposed to constant and high levels of airborne particulates. Once their airways become clogged they are prime targets for respiratory diseases and infections which can often prove fatal.

Other fragrances from household products and cosmetics and odors, especially from the kitchen, can be bad news for your bird.

The Bird Dander Air Purifier is designed to remove not only particulates that are generated by your bird, but the odors as well.

And because this air purifier has a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) filter it can remove other pollutants such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and dander from other pets as well.

Clean up your air and help your bird (and you) live a longer, healthier, happier life with the Bird Dander Air Purifier.

Call PurerAir.com now at (800) 997-2989 and let us get it on the way to you today Tax Free and with Free Shipping! You have only healthy air and a healthy bird to gain.

And the Dust Mites Didn’t Stand a Chance

A client recently wrote in to tell us about her daughter, allergies, and dust mites as follows.

My little girl went for her annual check up last week, and after looking up her nose, the doctor said she was suffering from allergies. We had noticed that she was waking up with a stuffy nose, but thought she was catching a cold. The pediatrician recommended an over the counter medication which my little girl willing took because they were grape-flavored chewable tablets.

We tried them for several days, and they didn’t come close to taking away the miserable nasal congestion that was getting in her way at night. I called our favorite pharmacist who said he was not surprised the medication hadn’t kicked in—give it another couple of days.

Meanwhile, I had promised my daughter that we would remove the toddler bed and replace it with a big girl twin bed complete with dust ruffle, decorative comforter, and pillow shams. We decided to do that Thursday, 4 days after we began the over the counter medication.

Well I did my research and found that dust mites are often the cause of congestion in the morning, so we decided to buy organic everything, cover the mattress and her pillow with a dust mite cover, and pre-wash all the fabrics in a non-allergenic detergent. And we also bought an air purifier for dust mites—the HealthMate Air Purifier.

Well not only did the room look gorgeous, but my little girl was only to happy to go to bed to try out all the new stuff. The next morning she woke up and said, “Mommy, I’m not even stopped up any more. This is the best bed!”

So what was responsible for the miraculous cure? Who can really say for sure, but I’m not turning off the HealthMate Air Purifier or taking off the dust mite covers any time soon. And even though the purple pill was kind of fun at first (which was a little scary), she hasn’t asked for it again now that she can breathe.

I love it when a plan comes together and works! Thanks for the HealthMate Air Purifier. Annie…….South Carolina

Thanks for sharing this with us Annie. Maybe it will help others solve their problem too.

Swine Flu—5 Good Habits That Can Help You Avoid It

With new cases of Swine Flu being reported daily, we find ourselves asking what we can do to stop the spread of this deadly disease.

Highly contagious, it puts people who are in close proximity to large groups of people at greater risk because they are more likely to come in contact with those who may be infected but not be aware that they are contagious.

Here are 5 good habits to get everyone you know to develop--now.

1. Wash your hands. This is an age old habit that continues to stand the test of time in terms of its effectiveness in fighting germs. Good old soap and water, antibacterial soap, or hand sanitizer will help young and old alike keep germs from entering through eyes, nose, and mouth. Use disposal wipes, or air dry hands rather than using a common towel or hand cloth.

2. Cover your mouth but not with your hands. Use your arm instead. This keeps germs hands that come in contact with common surfaces such as light switches, door handles, staplers, pencils, coffee makers, and other hands. Covering with your arm keeps hands less germy.

3. Contain the germs. If you’re coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose frequently, better to stay at home and lessen the chance of spreading germs to others in your school or office.

4. Consult a physician. If you develop flu like symptoms, don’t wait around. Consult a physician immediately. Better safe than sorry.

5. Filter Your Air with a HEPA Air Purifier
. Even though Swine Flu can be transferred through droplets that are sent airborne when sneezing or coughing, they don’t stay in the air very long. But filtering your air with a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier will remove airborne pollutants that your body is constantly fighting off such as household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and pet dander.

Your body’s immune system is its first line of defense against germs, and removing these pollutants helps your immune system stay strong which can’t help but increase the chances of you and your family staying healthy.

Pollen at the Party

A customer wrote the following account after attending a birthday party with her daughter.

I’m writing to let you know how pleased I continue to be with the Hay Fever Air Purifier we bought last year.

My daughter was invited to a birthday party in the park yesterday, and it was perfect temperature—not too hot or cold with a wonderful breeze. The only problem was the breeze was full of pollen, so much so that the air looked dusty.

I started to sneeze, and my daughter had a runny nose, but she managed to enjoy herself thoroughly. We were outside for 4 hours! I gave her a relaxing bath to help with congestion, and to get what must have been millions of pollen spores out of hair. She went to bed happy in her room (where the purifier runs continuously), had a great night, and woke up refreshed and ready to go again.

My husband is also allergic to pollen and he always dreaded springtime, but the one in our little girl's room made such a difference that we have the same purifier in our bedroom now too, and he hardly notices when spring arrives anymore!

I don't even want to think about allergy season without the Hay Fever Air Purifier, and thanks to you, we don't have to! Thanks Purer Air! Susan……Virginia
