Allergy Relief That Works

Spring is a great time of year if you’re not allergic to pollen. If you are allergic to things that bloom in the spring, this time of year can make you feel like crawling into a cave. But with a good management plan, you can successfully navigate through the season with fewer and less severe symptoms; and maybe even with your sense of humor in tact.

Unless you live at the space station it’s hard to avoid coming in contact with the allergens that are thick in the air right now in the great outdoors. For those times when you know you can’t avoid the triggers, explore some of the over-the-counter medications such as Zyrtec and Claritin. You’ll know pretty quickly whether they make a difference for you. If your allergies are more severe and are not controlled by these medications, an allergist can recommend other more effective options.

But if it’s true that your home should be your castle, during allergy season it should be your sanctuary—a place that is safe from allergy triggers, and gives you time to rejuvenate both physically and emotionally.

To do that you need to continually filter your indoor air with an air cleaner that contains a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter that by definition can remove airborne particles like pollen down to .3 microns in size. And since many allergies are triggered by a combination of allergens, HEPA filtration will also remove airborne triggers such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet dander as well as bacteria and viruses.

If there was an air purifier that could remove all of these airborne allergens and make your home a comfortable place for you to be, would you want to know about it? Well there is such a purifier. See it now at http://purerair.com/hay_fever_air_purifier.html

Air Purifiers and Cockatiels

If you love a Cockatiel you know how important it is to keep the air clean for both your bird and your family. If you were not aware of the white powder they produce before you brought it home, you probably are now.

The white powdery dust that your Cockatiel produces is a natural part of growth and development but can be a major health problem for both you and your bird. Inhaling this powder can cause your bird’s air passages to become clogged. And clogged airways frequently lead to disease and infection that can be a huge factor in shortening your bird’s life span.

The bird dust can also be a major irritant for those who have allergies and asthma. And bacteria and viruses often piggy back on airborne dust so that they can travel from one host to another by being inhaled or ingested.

The right cleaner can really keep Cockatiel dust level to a minimum. That means everyone stays healthy and avoids diseases that can result from constantly breathing feathers, dust, dander, and other all too normal household pollutants.

Pollen Air Purifier

Spring has sprung. And whether it’s just official and nothing is blooming yet, or whether it’s in full swing with pollen flying every where, an air purifier an excellent way to stay in control.

Removing pollen whether it’s from trees, grass, flowers means you will need a cleaner with a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) filter. This kind of filter can remove airborne particulates that are as small as .3 microns in size. And the good news is that pollen can be easily trapped by this type of filtration.

The other feature that your cleaner will need to have is the ability to run 24 hours a day. Continuous filtration prevents large amounts of pollen from accumulating in your air. And this greatly reduces your chances of allergy and asthma, allergic rhinitis and resulting sinus flare ups.

The types and amount of pollen vary greatly from one region to another. But in many locations there is literally always something that is producing pollen. There is no way to keep pollen out of our indoor space. It can and does easily attach to your hair, pet, book bag, and packages. And many times it just blows in with the wind as you come and go doing daily activities.

PurerAir.com offers a pollen air purifier that can work all year long for any type of airborne pollen that may find its way into your space. See it now at http://purerair.com/hay_fever_air_purifier.html

Odor Eliminating Air Purifier

An air purifier that is effective at eliminating odor should have a carbon filter. It's that simple. Carbon has been proven to be one of the most effective and safest ways to pull odors out of the air. If your odor is chemically based the carbon filter should also have an additional compound that can absorb them.

PurerAir.com offers a cleaner that contains carbon as well as potassium iodide that is specifically designed to remove harmful odors from products used in nail salons, beauty salons, and days spas—products like nail polish, nail polish remover, hair perm products, smoke from curling irons and more.

It can also remove fumes from office products such as glue, ink, and even the fumes that the copier gives off. We recently had a client purchase this purifier because he owns an office that is above a trucking garage. The diesel fumes were making them sick!

In addition to the odor absorbing carbon filter, this cleaner has a medical grade HEPA filter. By definition this type of filter removes 99.97% of airborne particulates down to .3 microns in size. This is a huge advantage in removing dust, pollen, and even bacteria and viruses.

The odors and fumes mentioned here are only a few ways that this odor eating air purifier can improve your air quality.

Filtering Dog Dander Effectively

Sharing your home with a dog is one of the best things you can experience in life. A dog is loyal, kind, non-judgmental, and is sad to see you go and always happy when you return.

But living with a dog can constantly put additional pollutants in the air such as dog hair and dander. And when they return from a romp outside that list can grow to include dust, pollen and other seasonal outdoor pollutants that they often shake and send airborne into your air.

But these additional pollutants don’t have to be a problem. Filtering the air 24 hours a day with an air purifier that contains a HEPA filter will keep your air virtually free of dog dander, hair and the other stuff your dog may drag in. And it will also remove dander from other household pets as well.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is made of steel with a powder coat finish, and will send 250 cubic feet of fresh, clean air into your home 24 hours a day. Put this cleaner to work for you and no one will know you have a dog until they see it!

Eliminating Kennel Odor

If you own a kennel, you only get one chance to make a good first impression. And one of the best ways to make a great first impression is to have fresh, clean smelling air that is free of urine odor when clients walk in.

Because, for most people these days, pets are an important part of the family the bar has been raised for kennel standards. Very few owners will be willing to leave their beloved pet in a kennel that smells.

So how do you eliminate kennel odor? With an air purifier that has a filter specifically designed to eliminate pet urine odor. It also needs to be able to run 24 hours a day with a minimum of maintenance.

And because hair, dander, bacteria and viruses are also issues in a kennel, having a purifier that has a HEPA filter is a must. By definition a high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) removes airborne pollutants as small as .3 microns. And for your 2 legged and 4 legged clients that means 99,997 out of every 10,000 particles are continuously removed from the air.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that can eliminate kennel odor 24 hours a day sending 250 cubic feet of fresh, odorless air into your kennel every 60 seconds. See the air purifier that can make your kennel come out smelling like a rose (well almost) at http://purerair.com/austin_air_pet_machine.html

HEPA Salon Air Purifier

Using a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting air purifier in your salon for hair and/or nails is a proactive step towards improving air quality for you and your clients.

This type of filtration can remove fine airborne particulates such as hair, dust, and bacteria and viruses as small as .3 microns in size.

But in addition to the HEPA filter, you also need a filter that can remove the myriad of airborne chemicals that many salon products give off.

This filter needs to be specifically designed to target and eliminate volatile organic chemicals that linger in your salon and cause both acute and long term problems.

Some signs of chemical irritation include dry throat, burning or watery eyes, dull headaches, and even dizziness. Long term health problems can be even more serious.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with both a HEPA and a chemical filter. We continue to supply this purifier to day spas, beauty and nail salons in the United States, Canada and beyond.

Remove Office Photocopier Fumes Now

Photocopiers are a huge advantage and have literally transformed the way we live. But if you sit next to one in an office or spend most of your day breathing in the fumes that these machines emit, they have definitely changed the way you live—and not in a good way.

Prolonged breathing of anything other than fresh clean air can cause serious long term health issues. And for the short term, these fumes just don’t make you feel good. The only way to remove these fumes is to get rid of the copier—and that’s not going to happen—or continually filter the air to get the fumes out of the air.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is specifically designed to remove chemical fumes from the air. Designed to run safely, effectively, and efficiently 24 hours a day, it sends 250 cubic feet of fresh clean air into your office every 60 seconds.

This means when you open the door in the morning, the air smells fresh and clean creating an atmosphere conducive to high energy and productivity.

This cleaner also contains a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filter that by definition removes airborne particulates as small as .3 microns in size. That includes airborne bacteria and viruses as well.

Instead of cringing each time some one in your office pushes the button to make a copy, this air cleaner will let you relax knowing that you air quality and your health aren't suffering because of it.

Austin Air Replacement Tips

If you already own an Austin Air Purifier you know that the filters last for an incredible 5 years—and sometimes even longer! So when it comes times to replace your filter use these 5 tips to make it a seamless transition.

1. Light-colored and dark-colored color options refer to the color of the pre-filter which is the first filter that pollutants come in contact with inside the purifier. If your cleaner is White or Sandstone choose the light color. If your cleaner is Black or Silver choose the dark color. Choosing a pre-filter whose color is similar to the purifier helps your unit look more uniform as you will be able to see it through the perforations on all sides of the cleaner.

2. You can open the unit by unscrewing the 4 screws located on the bottom of the unit. Be sure to unplug it first and place the top of the unit on something soft to prevent scratching the powder coat finish on the top of the unit.

3. Record the serial number of the filter (usually begins with F) before you put the replacement in the unit. You’ll need this number to register your filter. Registering your filter as soon as you purchase it makes it easier for you to take advantage for the 5 year prorated filter warranty should the need arise.

4. Be sure to check the date your purifier was made. A standard size unit made after 1995 can accept any standard size filter, and the same applies for junior size units made after 1995.

5. There are several new filters available since 1995. They include a Pet Machine Filter that effectively removes urine odor, and a Bedroom Machine Filter endorsed by the National Sleep Foundation to remove airborne pollutants that often interfere with getting a good night’s sleep.

Cat Hair Air Purifier

Are you looking for an air purifier for cat hair because you love your cat, but the hair—not so much? Based on the number of people who search the internet every day for a cat hair solution, you are not alone.

And even though many might say that having cat hair in the air comes with the territory when you live with a cat, there is a way to greatly reduce the hair in the air--and reduce is the key word. Nothing will take cat hair away completely, but an air purifier that can run 24 hours a day, and uses HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) filtration can make a huge difference not only in airborne hair, but the invisible dander you can’t see.

By definition HEPA filtration must remove 99.97% of airborne particulates down to .3 microns in size. And a micron is way smaller that the period at the end of this sentence. By using this technology to continuously filter your air, you allow it to keep up with the hair and dander that your cat sends airborne with its normal daily activities.

With the air purifier that PurerAir.com offers, you can have your cat and air that is virtually hairless too!

Bird Dust Allergies Solution

If you have opened your home and your heart to a powder down bird such as an African Grey, Cockatoo, or Cockatiel you know first hand about the white powdery dust they generate. If you also find that you are allergic to this dust, you are in an awful predicament.

You love your bird and can’t bear the thought of finding another home for it, and yet you find it difficult to breathe in the bird room because of the dust. Unfortunately, the dust will be around for as long as you have your bird, but the good news is that by constantly filtering the air in your bird’s room, you can greatly reduce the amount of airborne dust that is available for you and your bird to inhale.

When you inhale the dust and dander, the protein that is present is likely the cause for sending your allergies into overdrive. When you bird inhales this dust and dander, it clogs their already tiny air passages and clogged airways very often lead to disease and infections that can greatly reduce your bird’s lifespan.

PurerAir.com offers an economical and efficient air purifier that can reduce the bird dust and dander in your air. We continue to supply these purifiers to professionals at Joshua Rescue Foundation and the aviary at Theater of the Sea in Islamorada Florida to name a few.

Beauty Salon Air Flow

Keeping the air moving in a beauty salon can create an atmosphere that is both pleasant and refreshing to customers. It’s important that the air flow be continuous and smells fresh and clean regardless of the services being offered that day.

And since you only get one chance to make a good first impression, filtering the air to remove the chemical fumes from perms, manicures, and pedicures is critical. Not only is cleaning the air a good idea aesthetically, but for the sake of your own good health.

Studies have show that breathing VOC's (volatile organic chemicals) over a prolonged period of time can have serious health consequences, so cleaning up the air is something you can’t afford not to do.

Of all the places in your home, your bedroom should provide the most restful and relaxing atmosphere. It should invite you in, envelop you, and make it easy for you to sleep and hard for you to leave. That’s a pretty tall order, but here are 3 features in an air purifier that can make your bedroom all that and more.

Salon Air Purification

If you own a beauty or nail salon, or a full service day spa that includes both, an effective air purification system can make or break the atmosphere in your shop. The chemicals used for hair and nails often contain volatile organic chemicals which evaporate easily into the air.

These airborne chemicals from permanents, pedicures, and manicures cause a strong and unpleasant odor that lingers. The smell makes a terrible first impression for clients, and is hard to enjoy working in day after day.

But the long term health problems that breathing these chemicals can cause are the real issue in any salon. Clients come and go and spend only a small percentage of their lives in this environment. You and your fellow stylists are constantly being forced to breathe these hazardous fumes.

And while you protect your hands with gloves, and clothes with capes and aprons, without constant filtration you leave many of the most important parts of the body unprotected like your lungs, eyes, throat and nose.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that is specifically designed to remove these airborne chemicals 24 hours a day every day. So regardless of whether you have 5 clients request perms, or 5 who get a manicure, the air in your salon will always smell fresh and clean because it is.

You don’t have to be in a hair salon very long to know that it can start to smell really bad really quickly. It just depends on what services clients have requested that day.

And even though you are no longer able to smell the fumes once you've been there for a while, they are still there. And others entering your salon know they are there as soon as they open the door.

HEPA Purifier for Asthma

If you have asthma one of the most effective ways to mange it is to eliminate your exposure to the triggers that cause flare ups. Airborne allergens are a major source of irritants that can trigger an attack. So it only makes sense to use an air purifier with a medical grade high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter to take these triggers out of your air.

A medical grade HEPA is defined as one that can remove 99.97% of airborne particulates as small as .3 microns with 99.97% efficiency. This means that for every 10,000 airborne particles of pollen, dander, dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, and pet dander, 99,997 out of every 10,000 are taken out.

And because smoke and other noxious chemicals from cleaning solutions and other household products can also cause an attack, the air purifier that PurerAir.com offers removes those with an additional filter of military carbon cloth.

Air Purifiers from PurerAir.com

If you are searching for an air purifier for your home or office you have taken a great proactive, and non-invasive first step towards a healthier lifestyle for you and your family. And as you search for a cleaner that will do the best job, here are a few tips to keep in mind.

Tip #1—Be clear about what it is you are trying to filter from your air and shop with that need in mind. Different cleaners have filters that are designed to target different pollutants. Once you are clear about what you need, match that need to the purifier’s filter capability. For example, if your child has asthma, or you need to remove pet urine odor, or you have allergies make sure the purifier has a filter that is designed to specifically remove that pollutant.

Tip#2—Choose a cleaner with multiple filters. A unit without a filter or with just one filter will obviously clean a lot less than one with say 4 filters. Fewer filters in a unit generally require more maintenance. And more maintenance means more time when pollutants are being allowed to accumulate in your air. A purifier with multiple filters saves you time and money.

Tip#3—A purifier that is made of steel is less likely to off-gas fumes than one that is made of plastic, so beware! Any purifier that is effective will need to run 24 hours a day. As the motor heats up the plastic, many times a noxious odor is produced from the plastic. The last thing you want to do is spend money for a unit that sends more pollutants into in the air rather removing them.

You can start your search for an air purifier and Shop by Need now at http://purerair.com/austin_air_products.html
