Dog Odor Air Purifier

Dogs bring a lot to our homes---love, laughter, loyalty, and beauty! Sometimes they bring a number of odors as well.

For those of us who love dogs, this often seems like a small price to pay for the joy they give. But for those who visit us at our home, this may not be the case.

The good news is you no longer have to decide between loving your dog, and having a house that smells clean and fresh all the time. Whether your pooch rolls in something it shouldn’t or is having incontinence issues, you can continually filter dog odor from your air.

Carbon has long been recognized as being the most efficient type of filter for odor. With an additional additive that is designed specifically to target pet odor, and more specifically urine odor, you can open the door to fresh air each time you come home, and when neighbors, friends and family come to visit.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has proven to be effective in commercial settings such as All God’s Creatures, Wags and Wiggles Doggie Day Care, Friends of Pep Shelter, and more. If it can keep the air smelling fresh and clean in tough situations like these, it will surely work in your home as well.

Bird Dander Allergy Symptoms

An allergy to bird dander will display similar symptoms to any allergy that has an airborne trigger.

Dander is invisible flakes of dead skin that are constantly being shed to make room for new healthier skin.

For some reason (and this has been the subject of many studies) the protein the dander is what sends many people’s allergies into overdrive.

The body perceives this dander as harmful and in more serious cases, life threatening. It tries to eject this foreign substance by sneezing and coughing it out the nose and lungs, flushing it out of the eyes by producing extra fluid (watering eyes), and nasal and throat tissues sometimes swell to minimize the particles that can enter. Unfortunately this also reduces air flow and can cause breathing problems.

The best solution for any allergy is to avoid the trigger. But often life doesn’t cooperate that way. And if you have a bird that you love, avoiding your bird is probably not a solution that thrills you.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that can significantly reduce the allergens in your air 24 hours a day. This means the air is cleaner for you and your bird to breathe, and you can enjoy your bird rather than avoid it.

Best Salon Air Purifier

If you own or work in a salon that does hair, manicures or pedicures, chances are you are constantly being exposed to chemical fumes from the products used when these services are performed.

And even though greener, more environmentally and health conscious products are available, many stylists say they are not as effective, and their clients are often not pleased with the results. The debate about that statement is one that I’ll save for a future blog.

But like it or not, it is hard to avoid being exposed to these volatile organic chemicals that are know to be hazardous to health, particularly with the prolonged exposure that is typical for anyone who works in the beauty industry.

Other than avoiding the fumes (as in not going to work), the next best solution is to drastically reduce the amount of fumes that are present in the air for you and your clients to inhale. Opening windows and doors is not always an option. And even if it is, you are often simply introducing different pollutants rather than eliminating the problem.

PurerAir.com continues to offer an air purifier that is specifically designed to remove airborne chemicals and fumes that are typically associated with beauty products---including ammonia and formaldehyde.

We continue to supply the best salons in the industry with this purifier including Hair Crew International, Nail Pro Inc., Just My Style, Hair Worx, Lydia’s European Beauty Center, Natural Nails, Oasis Salon Studio & Spa, and many other salons in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Filtering Cockatoo Dust Effectively

Cockatoos are gorgeous birds, not only in looks but in the intelligence and companionship they offer. What is not so much fun is the white, powdery wing dust they produce.

This is a normal part of the Cockatoo’s growth and development, but it can sure make it hard to keep your space clean.

The wing dust is in addition to the dander that all warm-blooded birds and animals produce. These fine particulates can stay suspended in the air for quite a while which makes them hazardous to your bird’s health as well as yours.

Birds’ air passages are tiny and as such are easily clogged. Once clogged, this can cause the onset of disease and infection. Since birds instinctively hide illness, once they exhibit symptoms it is often too late to reverse the disease. Restricted air passages often cause the early demise of many birds.

As for humans, this dust and dander can trigger allergy and asthma attacks in those who already have respiratory problems. And constant exposure to so much of it can precipitate respiratory problems for those who were previously healthy.

These airborne particles can become carriers for small pieces of fecal material as well as bacteria and viruses. This is not healthy air for anyone!

PurerAir.com offers a Bird Dust Air Purifier that is specifically designed to remove the huge number of particulates that Cockatoos generate. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Eliminating Office Paint Fumes

Isn’t it ironic that one of the quickest ways to freshen your office’s appearance---mainly paint—is also one of the quickest ways to make the air quality worse?

It’s sad but true. Many paints contain volatile organic chemicals that off gas into the air for long periods of time.

These fumes are not good for anyone to breathe. And believe it or not, some people cannot even smell them, but that doesn’t make them any healthier to breathe.

If you are a person that is greatly affected by these airborne chemicals, breathing them for even a small period of time can make your head hurt, cause dizziness, and a general feeling of discomfort.

If you work in an office where painting has happened, you were probably not consulted about the product they planned to use, but you’re left to live with the fumes for as long as it takes them to dissipate.

There is a way to gain control of the air in your office again, and PurerAir.com can help. We offer a chemical air purifier that is portable enough to plug into the nearest outlet, and heavy duty enough to eliminate fumes from the strongest smelling paint.

And because it’s portable, you can take it with you wherever you go and know that fresh, clean, chemical-free air is always as close as the nearest outlet.

Managing Dog Allergies

If you have a dog that causes you to sneeze, grow congested, or get watery eyes whenever you are up close and personal with it, chances are you are allergic to your dog.

Most people who have this reaction to their pooch are allergic to the protein found in the dander.

Dander is the name for the minute particles of dead skin that are constantly falling off of your dog, and going airborne directly as it shakes, plays, runs, or jumps. Dander can also create a vicious cycle because once it falls to the floor or other surfaces, normal activities or even a gentle air current can send these potent particles into the air making them available for you to inhale.

This whole process will continue as long as you have your dog because it is the body’s natural way of replacing the old with the new. Nothing will get rid of the dander in your home totally, but continually filtering the air to remove it will greatly reduce the number of the allergens in the air, and will make a huge and positive difference in how you feel when you spend time with your dog.

PurerAir.com offers the Pet Dander Air Purifier which is designed for those with allergies. It will remove these microscopic flakes from your air. See it now at http://purerair.com/pet_dander_air_purifier.html

Cockatoo Dust Air Purifier

Cockatoos are incredibly beautiful birds. But they are powder down birds, as you have probably learned, and they shed an incredible amount of white wing dust. This is a natural part of their growth and development and will continue all the years you have your bird.

So how should you deal with the dust? Cleaning daily will help minimize the amount of dust in the room. Damp mopping and dusting, and vacuuming will clear away the huge number of particles and prevent them from going airborne.

It’s really important to keep these particles out of the air for you and your bird’s sake. Your feathered friend’s air passages need to stay clear. And because they are so tiny, being forced to breathe air that is clogged with dust, dander, and other more normal household pollutants will eventually cause a narrowing of the airways.

The air passages are then more subject to disease and infection. And often the conditions that result are hard if not impossible to reverse.

In the case of humans, continually breathing air that is thick with bird dander and dust can cause the onset of allergies and asthma. And for those who already have sensitivity to the protein the dust and dander, it can make it impossible to live with the bird.

In addition to cleaning surfaces, constantly filtering the air is a must. This should be done with a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filter 24 hours a day. This insures that you and your bird have fresh clean air, and increases the chances that your bird (and you too) will live a long healthy life together.

Managing Bird Allergies

There is nothing more heart breaking than adopting a bird only to find that constant exposure sends your allergies into overdrive. Before you begin to try to find a new home for your bird (perish the thought) here are a few suggestions that will reduce the number of allergens to which you are exposed.

Other than completely avoiding your bird, the next best thing is to reduce the number of triggers to which you are exposed. Wear a mask while you clean with a damp cloth and mop to keep the particles from going airborne again.

You can further remove those particles that do go airborne (and nothing will get rid of all of them) by continuously filtering the air with a HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting air cleaner. This type of filter removes bird dust and dander as well as other household pollutants such as household dust.

It’s important to remove these pollutants before they can clog your bird’s air passages. Their airways are so small that it does not take much to cause a blockage. This often leads to disease and infection, and the results are often hard to reverse.

PurerAir.com offers an allergy air purifier designed to remove both bird-related pollutants and other common allergy triggers.

Brazilian Blowout Air Purifier

The new Brazilian Blowout has become the rage in many beauty salons. Women seem extremely pleased with the results. But some salons are requiring customers to wear professional gas masks, and are taking no chances on the health hazards it can cause.

The controversy continues to rage over whether there is any formaldehyde in the product. If there is, wearing a mask protects only those who are wearing it. What about the others in the salon?

Unless the room is sealed and has a separate air and ventilation system, the fumes from any procedure in that room will be carried into other parts of the salon. This makes other clients and staff subject to the fumes. And even if it just smells bad, it’s not a very pleasant atmosphere for a salon to have.

PurerAir.com offers a chemical air purifier that can remove formaldehyde (should there be any), ammonia, and other harmful chemicals that are often found in beauty products.

Designed to run 24 hours a day, it can remove harmful chemicals from your salon’s air whether you are there or not. This means fresh air while clients are there and fresh air when you walk in each morning.

There is no down side to clean air. See the Beauty Salon Air Purifier that can keep your air smelling fresh and clean regardless of the services you offer at http://purerair.com/beauty_salon_purifier.html

Uses for Chemical Purifiers

Chemicals have made our lives better in many ways. But volatile organic chemicals that off-gas into indoor air can make breathing uncomfortable and unhealthy.

Here are 3 situations where a chemical air purifier should be used to improve health.

Beauty and Nail Salons
are notorious for the fumes that many of their products create. Walking through a mall and passing a beauty salon is all that is necessary to smell the fumes from perms, dyes and other products.

The smell is offensive even if you don’t enter the shop. Imagine he amount of fumes inhaled by one technician in a day, and it’s easy to see why this can easily become a menace to good health.

Fine Art Studios create visual beauty, but the air quality often suffers because of it. Oil based paints and solvents such as turpentine can become offensive quickly. They can lead to acute symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, and nausea. And feeling that way in the studio surely does not encourage creativity or even a desire to be there.

School Art Rooms use many of the same products that art studios use. The difference is that instead of one artist there are often as many as 20-25 students using products that off gas chemicals into the air.

Imagine 25 magic markers sending fumes into the air for a 25 minute class, and you'll probably agree that there’s no question that filtering these airborne chemicals shouldn’t be a choice.

PurerAir.com offers a chemical air purifier that is portable yet heavy-duty in its ability to keep air virtually free of chemical fumes. See it now at http://purerair.com/healthmate_plus.html

Air Purifier for Dust

Dust has been the bane of mankind since we moved indoors. Regardless of how hard we try, even now with all our technological advances, we can’t keep the dust out. That’s because it’s made up of both outdoor and indoor pollutants.

What’s in dust varies from one household to the next and from geographic location to another. The list of components is varied.

It can include but is not limited to dirt and sand, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet and human hair, dander or dead skin flakes, minute particles of paper and fabric, seasonal pollen and the list can and does go on and on.

But the bottom line about dust is that the pollutants that it’s made of are particles. So any air cleaner that is to be effective must be able to eliminate particles effectively.

HEPA filtration or high efficiency particle arresting filters are the absolute best type of filter for dust. Because they are able to eliminate 99.99% of airborne particles that are .3 microns or greater, this makes them the best choice.

PurerAir.com offers an air cleaner for dust that not only uses a HEPA filter, but carbon cloth as well. Invented by the British Military to be effective against chemical warfare, not only does it offer an increase in filtration of particulates but of gases, odors, and chemicals as well.
