Cat Urine Odor Relief

Susan called us to say her house smelled of urine odor. It looks great on the outside and really nice on the inside too.

Except now that we are trying to sell our home the odor is a complete turn off when people come to view the house.

She said we’ve tried having the carpet cleaned; we’ve even replaced some of the drywall that we know was a favorite spot for some of the cats. But with 11 cats, the odor persists.

We sent her the Pet Machine Air Purifier because it has a carbon filter with ammonasorb that is specifically designed to eliminate the eye-watering, breath taking stench of urine. Because it is at its best when it runs 24 hours a day, showing her home with short notice will never be a problem again, at least because of the smell.

The purifier that we offer continually cleans the air so that the urine odor is constantly neutralized, and the air stays fresh, and clean smelling. But as a cat lover and homeowner, you shouldn’t have to wait until you’re ready to sell your home to enjoy it.

Eliminating Airborne Cat Hair

Cat hair is a problem if you have discovered that you are allergic to your pet. It is actually not the hair that is the problem, but the dander that sticks to it.

Dander is small, microscopic flakes of dead skin that your cat sheds continually.

As long as you have your cat dander and hair will be an issue. In fact, studies have shown dander to be present months after the pet has left. It has even been found on clothes of people that don’t even own pets. That gives you some idea of how tenacious this problem can be.

The only way to effectively remove the hair and the dander clinging to it is to continually filter the air. Removing the hair from the air before it has a chance to fall is an effective solution. And the less of it there is laying around on furniture and floors, the less there is to go airborne, be inhaled, and cause flare ups.

Choosing a multi-stage filtration system that specifically targets a wide range of particles will greatly reduce the amount of hair and dander in your air, thereby reducing your cat-related allergy issues as well.

Baby Nursery Air Purifier

Filtering the air in your baby’s nursery is just as important as providing food and water. Your baby’s still developing lungs need all the help they can get filtering out pollutants to which most adults have grown accustomed.

Dust, dust mites, pet dander, and seasonal pollen are just a few very usual irritants found in the cleanest of homes.

Add to these lingering paint fumes from the newly painted nursery, formaldehyde from new carpet, adhesive from wall paper, and fumes from pressed wood furniture, and your baby’s lungs may not be able to handle it all.

In hospitals, HEPA (abbreviated as high efficiency particle arresting) technology is used to filter out particulates as small as .3 microns in size. And since carbon filters are know for their ability to absorb gases, odors, and chemicals, the ideal purifier would contain both types of filters.

We know that the first years in a baby's life are the most important. So our purifier contains both HEPA and carbon filters to give your baby every advantage.

PurerAir.com has been helping babies across the country breath easy with the air purifier specifically designed with babies’ needs in mind. This purifier contains not 2, but 4 filters. In addition to the carbon and HEPA, it also contains 2 pre-filters that greatly prolong the life of the other filters.

Filtering Indoor Chemical Fumes

Fumes from chemicals can have their source in a variety of places indoors. Chemicals used in the manufacture of carpet and the glues used to install it can be brutal.

Painting with anything other than low-VOC paint can cause volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) to off gas for weeks.

Pressed wood furniture, adhesives, varnishes, and stain products can all add to the unhealthy air quality.

Commercial establishments can also be chemical battlegrounds. Beauty salons, nail salons, and day spas can all be places where fumes can collect in the air to cause a miserable smell that can also produce chronic and long term health effects.

The bottom line is that breathing volatile organic fumes over a long period of time is not only uncomfortable because of the symptoms it creates, but dangerous. And there is a better solution than wearing a mask indoors.

Using an air purifier that is specifically designed to remove these chemicals is the best and most proactive step to take. Carbon filters have long been recognized as the best type of filter to eliminate fumes. And with an enhanced additive of potassium iodide this type of filter is unbeatable in its ability to effectively eliminate chemical odors.

PurerAir.com offers a 4-stage chemical filtration air cleaner that is sure to help clear the air of chemical fumes for good. Put it to work for you beginning today. See it now at http://purerair.com/healthmate_plus.html

HEPA Filter for Parrot

If you are in the market for a HEPA filter for your parrot, you’re looking in the right direction. High efficiency particle arresting (most often abbreviated as HEPA) filters are very effective at removing particulates.

This type of filter can remove airborne particulates as small as .3 microns is size. This means bird dust, dander, feathers, and other tiny particles that your bird is constantly producing can be filtered from the air before they build to an unhealthy level for you and your bird.

The powder down parrots such as African Greys, Cockatoos, Cockatiels, and some Amazons are all gorgeous creatures. But they also produce an incredible amount of white powder as a natural part of wing health.

Allowing so many particulates to accumulate in your air forces you and your bird to breathe unhealthy air each day. For you this can mean the onset of asthma and/or allergies.

It can also greatly exacerbate existing respiratory conditions. In rare cases it can also cause Bird Fancier’s Lung Disease which is spread from dried pieces of feces that go airborne.

Unhealthy air for your avian friend can have dire consequences. Birds’ air passages are so small that they can easily become clogged. Once this happens it is often the beginning of disease and infection that is often not easily reversed.

If you have searched for this type of filter for your bird, I'm probably preaching to the choir. So take a look at the HEPA filter that professional aviaries are using now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html

Relief from Pet Allergies

Pet allergies can be devastating to deal with when you’ve already made an animal a part of the family.

Warm blooded pets such as dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, bunnies, ferrets and others like them come with hair and dander that can really cause problems for those who suffer with respiratory conditions such as allergies and asthma.

Most people who discover they are allergic to their pet have the strongest reaction to the protein in the dander.

Dander is small flakes of dead skin that are constantly being shed to make way for newer, healthier skin that is better able to defend against disease and infection.

Dander accumulation will be an issue for as long as you have your pet, so effectively managing the problem is important if you and your pet are to successfully share a home together. Because dander can stick to just about anything, pet hair, dust, and other airborne pollutants often become carriers of this allergen.

Constantly filtering the air to remove airborne particles is one of the best ways to get control of the pet dander and other triggers that are most likely working in conjunction to cause your allergies to flare.

HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filtration is the best technology for removing particles. To be designated as such it must be able to eliminate 99.97% of particles down to .3 microns in size.

Controlling Mold and Mildew

Mold and mildew are nature’s way to recycling. Once the tiny spores find moisture they set about the process of decomposing the source of the moisture.

In the environment this means dead trees, leaves, plants and animals are returned to the earth.

But mold and mildew in your home can mean the loss of furniture, clothes, as well as window and wall coverings.

Once these spores find moisture whether it's in your bathroom, under the kitchen sink, or in the basement, it often takes professional attention to re mediate the problem.

You can go on the offensive with the problem by reducing the number of spores indoors. By eliminating them before they find water, you can drastically reduce the chances that they will cause a problem for you indoors.

PurerAir.com offers a portable, but heavy duty air purifier that is designed with a 4 stage filtration process that targets particulates likes these spores. This process also removes common household dust, dust mites, and pet dander as well.

Once mold or mildew spores have found moisture, an air purifier will not stop the process. But by allowing your indoor air to be filtered 24 hours a day every day, you can keep particulates from building to levels that will become unhealthy and unsightly.

Put the air purifier that uses a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) filter, 2 pre-filters, and carbon cloth to work for you starting today.

Hay Fever Air Filter

If you suffer from hay filter you are most likely allergic to pollen from trees, grass, and/or weeds as well as mold and mildew spores.

Many people are sensitive to only one, but if some combination or all of them are trigger allergic responses; you can miserable from April through November. Life is too short to spend on the defensive.

An air filter is a great proactive and non-invasive step to gain control of the situation. The best type of filtration is one that is specific to particles of many sizes.

This is helpful because most people are allergic to a number of allergens, and choosing a filter that can handle them all solves the problem with the least amount of money and aggravation.

HEPA or high efficiency particle arresting filters are designed to remove not only seasonal pollens but other indoor allergens that just never go away---dust, dust mites, pet dander. To be designated as a HEPA, it must remove particles down to .3 microns in size.

Having a unit that continually filters the air means that allergen levels are never allowed to increase to a level that make you miserable or worse. 24 hour filtration also means that there is less for you to clean off furniture and the floor, and there’s no down side to that.

Allergy Relief for Children

One of the hardest parts of being a parent is to watch your child struggle to breathe.

And even though spring is visually beautiful with all that blooms, it is often a nightmare for children who suffer with allergies because breathing becomes difficult from airborne allergens.

There are a plethora of medications available on the market in every possible flavor. And medication certainly has its place in a successful management program. But wouldn’t it be wonderful to find an additional alternative that was more natural, and less invasive?

Filtering indoor air with a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier is just such an alternative. Since it is often particulates such as dust, dust mites, pollen, pet dander, and mold and mildew spores that trigger congestion, and swollen nasal passages, it makes sense that if you can remove the triggers where your child spends a lot of time, you can solve the problem a lot of the time.

HEPA filtration removes particulates down to .3 microns in size which includes the airborne particles above. This is the type of technology hospitals use to insure clean air.

PurerAir.com offers a medical grade air purifier that also has 2 pre-filters for larger particles and carbon cloth that is effective at removing gases, odors, and chemicals---many of which can also cause problems for those who are allergic.

World Asthma Day 2011---Improving Health by Raising The Awareness

Today is world Asthma Day. This is an event organized by the Global Initiative for Asthma to help raise awareness about causes and management of this chronic respiratory condition.

Here are 5 facts to know.

1. Over 20 million Americans alone have asthmas with children counting for more than 50%.

2. Genetics play a large part in determining whether you have the condition. So having this condition doesn’t necessarily mean that you did anything wrong.

3. Environmental conditions that contain large amounts of dust, dust mites, pet dander, mold and mildew spores, smoke or airborne chemicals can greatly exacerbate the condition and even cause the onset of asthma.

4. Medication for chronic and acute management has an important place in a well-tuned management plan. However, they often come with side effects that can be almost as problematic as the condition itself.

5. Avoiding the irritants that cause flare-ups is still the most proactive and non-invasive way to manage. Filtering the air with a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) air purifier can greatly reduce pollutants and lessen the chances of an attack.

Natural Allergy Relief

Being able to manage allergies naturally can be a huge physical and emotional advantage. Going natural can also save time and money. There are many ways to start, principally knowing and avoiding the allergens that trigger problems.

However, if the irritants are airborne, avoiding them is easier said than done. There are allergy shots that can be given that gradually reduce sensitivity to your specific triggers.

Acupuncture is now being recommended and used successfully in many cases to desensitize the body to allergens. Using various herbal supplements and honey that is local to your area are also methods that may yield success.

But one of the most natural ways to deal with airborne allergies is still to avoid the trigger. And the most reliable and non-invasive way to handle this indoors is by continually filtering the air to keep allergens to a minimum.

The best type of filter for eliminating airborne particles is a high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA). By definition this type of filter is required to remove 99.97% of particulates that are .3 microns or greater. This includes the most common allergy triggers including dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet dander, and seasonal pollens.

Using a portable filter that you can control and take with you wherever you go gives you total control over what’s in your air. And with allergies, control over the air gives you control of your life.
