Clean Air For Salons

The air quality in nail and beauty salons often suffer because of the chemicals that off gas from many salon products.

Nail polish, adhesives, and hardener are just a few of many products that off gas volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) into the air.

Beauty salon products include perms, hair dyes, and other treatments that off gas ammonia, formaldehyde and other potent chemicals. As one stylist described her reaction to the fumes, “My eyes started to burn and water as if I had just peeled an onion”.

In many salons clients are wearing gas masks as various treatments are performed. And that’s a great solution for the client as long as they are wearing it. But the fumes that evaporate into the air take a while to dissipate, so others in the salon (especially the stylists) are being exposed to these fumes each time these treatments are done.

A more continuous solution for the continual problem is to remove airborne chemicals by filtering the air 24 hours a day. This reduces the amount of VOCs in the air and makes the air healthier for everyone to breathe each time they are in your salon.

PurerAir.com offers a heavy duty portable air purifier specifically designed to remove the harsh chemicals that go airborne in salons.
