Dorm Room Air Quality

Unwanted gaseous and particulate pollutants in your coed’s room can cause respiratory problems and aggravate existing ones like allergies and asthma.

Unfortunately, there is just no way of predicting what is likely to be in the air, or what a roommate will add to the mix.

Summer renovations in the dorm may look great, but may cause VOCs to off-gas from new paint, tile work, and/or carpets.
Being able to effectively filter these pollutants  can directly affect how well your student is able to focus in their room.
24 hours a day can really help your student stay focused and provide a room that is a healthy haven from the ever busy college lifestyle.

For gaseous pollutants such as odors and airborne chemicals, carbon filters are the very best.  For the removal of particulates, a high efficiency particle arresting (abbreviated as HEPA) is the most efficient.

But in order for the cleaner to be really effective, it needs to be able to run 24 hours.  A cleaner with a split capacitor motor is a must because it can run effectively and safely 24 hours a day.

24 hour filtration means that pollutants are continually being removed so that they do not build to unhealthy levels that typically cause symptoms like sneezing, congestion, headaches, and sometimes just plain lethargy.
Having a portable cleaner that your student is in control of can give them a head start on a great year on campus.

Dorm Room Air Purifier

With the school year well under way, you and your coed have a better idea of what air quality in the is really going to be like this year.

An air purifier will help the situation; so better to solve the problem now rather than after it becomes a really big problem.

Dorm room air can be subject to dust from inside and out, seasonal pollens, pet dander on clothes of room mates or even on the walls leftover from last year’s residents.

Odors and smells from other rooms can be a problem as well as paint fumes, adhesives used for tiles and bathroom fixtures.

Without a purifier to constantly filter particles, odors, and gases, you or your student are constantly susceptible to anything that blows in. And that’s no way to live.

Even if you are perfectly healthy, breathing airborne pollutants constantly is not good, and if you have allergies, asthma or another respiratory condition, these pollutants can trigger reactions that range from irritating to life threatening.

The Dorm Room Air Purifier has 4 filters that can remove particles as well as odors, gases, and chemicals. And it is designed to run 24 hours every day whether you are there or not. This means that each time you return to you room, you know that clean, fresh air is waiting.

Get 125 cubic feet of purer air sent into your room every 60 seconds with this heavy-duty yet compact air cleaner. See it now at http://purerair.com/dorm_air_purifier.html

Eliminating Dorm Room Dust

Have you ever wondered what generates dust in a dorm room? Is it dust that has settled from the central heating and air conditioning system? Or is it small bits of drywall or plaster that has become airborne with movement from above the room or within? Whatever the source, having your student breathe it into their lungs day in and day out is a disaster waiting to happen.

Even a student without respiratory problems such as asthma and allergies can find themselves congested and miserable if they are forced to breathe air that is laden with fine particles. And with flu season just around the corner, viruses and bacteria are known for their uncanny ability to travel from one host to the next on tiny particles floating in the air.

And even though you can’t be there every moment anymore now that they are in college, you can send a portable, medical grade air purifier that can be there for them. PurerAir.com has sent this powerful solution to thousands of college campuses to insure co-eds have the freshest air possible to breathe.

Now that they’ve made it to college, they deserve every advantage. So keep the air clean and fresh for them 24 hours a day with a purifier that requires a filter change every 5 years. That means you put one in when they go to college and change it again when they graduate. Sound good?
