Filtering Pet Urine Smell

Urine can be one of the most offensive odors there is. Ammonia that off-gases into the air can cause stinging eyes, can literally take your breath away.

For those of us who used to clean windows with straight ammonia this is no surprise.

If you have a beloved older pet who loses control, or young pets who don’t know the rules of the house, the smell can really make home an unpleasant place to be.

With either the young or old, you’re not always there when the accident happens, and even if you are, you can only clean the places you can access.

So wallboard and subflooring may not be areas that you can clean without expensive repairs.

And even if you do those, you may need to do them again if mistakes continue to happen repeatedly in the same places.

Neutralizing the spot is always a good first step, but keeping the air clean when you are there or away means you are more likely to enter a home that smells fresh and inviting rather than one that reeks of urine.

A carbon based filter with an additive specifically designed to remove urine is the most effective kind of cleaner to have. And it should be able to run 24/7 so that if and/or when an accident happens your cleaner is working immediately to clear the air.

The Pet Machine Air Purifier not only has a carbon-based filter with an additive for ammonia but also has 3 additional particles filters for hair, fur, and dander that come along with the love of a warm-blooded pet.
