Keeping Indoor Air Healthy

As the change in weather signals the arrival of fall and winter temperatures, we close out the chilly air and try to stay warm until spring.

But unless you actively remove particulates and germs from you air, it can become unhealthy pretty quickly.

Germs, bacteria, household dust, dust mites, smoke from wood burning stoves and fireplaces, pet dander from your pet or from a pet of someone you work or go to school with.

Forced air heat stirs up pollutants each time it comes on and without a filter that is fine enough to trap these pollutants, the air your home can become your worse enemy.

HEPA filtration has long been recognized as the best technology for removing airborne particles. Because of its fine reputation, it is what hospitals use to keep their air clean.

This type of filter is able to remove airborne particles as small as .3 microns in size. But as great as HEPA filters are at removing particles, they can’t help with gaseous pollutants.

Carbon is the material for removing gases, odors, chemicals and smoke from the air. And a carbon cloth filter offers a wonderful combination of removing both particles because it is a cloth and gaseous pollutants because it is made of carbon.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier that has both carbon cloth and HEPA filters as well as additional pre-filters for removing the big particles that you can often see in the air. So the 4 filters in the canister can multi-task and eliminate the variety of irritants that are likely to be found in your air.

The benefit to you is that one air purifier can solve your problems by removing all types of airborne pollutants. That means you indoor air stays healthy through the winter, and you and your family are more likely to do the same.
