Cat Hair Air Purifier

If you’re looking for a machine to suck cat hair and fur out the air, you need an air cleaner that has a HEPA filter.

This type of filter is incredibly efficient at removing not only cat-related particles but the more typical particulates found indoors.

They include things like household dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, cat dander (that’s invisible to the human eye), as well as mold and mildew spores.

It’s important to note that an air purifier will not have the suction of a vacuum cleaner. A good cleaner sends the air through multiple filters so the process is much slower than that of a vacuum, but it is also much more thorough.

The second thing to remember is that nothing will get rid of all of the hair. But using a cleaner to filter the air will drastically reduce the amount that falls to furniture and/or the floor. To keep ahead of the constant production of hair and fur, the cleaner needs to be able to run continuously.

Having a HEPA filter is great for microscopic particles because it can eliminate particles as small as .3 microns in size. But less expensive filters such as large and medium size pre-filters can eliminate these big particles and save the HEPA for the microscopic ones. Ultimately these filters save you from spending time and money that having to frequently replace the filter would require.

PurerAir.com offers the Cat Dander Air Purifier that has 2 pre-filters as well as a HEPA that can take cat hair and dander out of your air. And that's a good thing!
