Animal Shelter Air Purifier

We received a letter today from Bonnie at the animal shelter in Missouri. She was writing because she ordered the Pet Machine in September and she states “it’s working so well, we’ve decided to order another one.”

This air cleaner is designed with pets and pet shelters in mind. With a cartridge containing 4 filters, it effectively eliminates both particles and smells. And in a shelter situation a unit must be able to address both.

The Pet Machine contains 3 filters for particles. The first two filters are called pre-filters and they are designed to trap big and medium size particles that you can see such has hair, fur, and dust.

The third filter for particles is a HEPA or high efficiency particles arresting filter. By definition it eliminates airborne particles that are as small as .3 microns in size. This filter is crucial because it eliminates invisible airborne dander and this reduces the mite population that feeds on the dander.

The HEPA also eliminates bacteria and viruses that generally move from one host to the next by attaching to particles. Eliminating these germs can keep both 2 and 4-legged creatures healthier.
