Pet Dander HEPA Filter

If you have a warm-blooded pet like a bird, dog, cat, ferret, or bunny, you’ve got dander.

Not because of anything you or your pet are doing wrong, but because dead skin flaking off to make room for new, more healthy skin is natural.

Dander is going to be a part of your life for as long as you have your pet.

But dander does not have to become a problem, particularly for those who are allergic to the protein it contains. Because it is not visible by the human eye without magnification, many times the only way you become aware of a problem is because of an allergic reaction.

The extra particles that any warm-blooded pet generates are an ideal way for dander to travel throughout your home. Since it is such sticky stuff, it can and does attach to airborne dust, pet hair, mold and mildew spores, pollen, and any thing else floating in your air.

This makes it all too available to be inhaled and ingested. Even for those who have never experienced sensitivity to dander, and overabundance can be the start of intolerance for it. And for those who are already prone to allergies, the dander-filled air can make owning a pet a challenge.

A high efficiency particle arresting (or HEPA) filter is the best type to effectively eliminate any type of particulate (including but not limited to pet dander). Designed to trap particles that are .3 microns or greater, this type of filter can also eliminate many other allergy triggers including dust, dust mites, bacteria and viruses.
