1. Birds need to be kept out of drafts. So position the purifier so that the air coming out of the unit is directed away from the bird's cage.

2. It is also important that the cleaner can be placed anywhere in the room. This gives you the most options in terms of putting it high on a shelf if floor space is limited, or putting it down on the floor if there is plenty of room.

This prevents the curious bird from chewing on the electrical cord, and prevents its human companions from tripping.
