Air Filter for Ferrets

Ferrets make great pets, but sometimes their odor is a little “off putting”. And even though the cause of the odor can vary, continually filtering the air where they are can help you literally rise above that aspect of sharing your home with them and enjoy your ferret to the fullest.

An air purifier that is to be effective with pet odor needs to be able to do the following three things.

1. Remove Odor
—Ferret odor can range from a distinctive musky smell to the smell of urine. To be effective, the cleaner must be equipped with a filter that is specifically designed to remove urine odor.

2. Remove Hair and Dander—It makes since to choose a unit that can multi-task by also removing airborne hair and dander that comes with ferrets, but with ownership of any warm blooded pet. Removing these airborne particulates not only makes the air cleaner for you and your pets, but in addition makes the air healthier for those who may be predisposed to respiratory conditions such as allergies and asthma.

3. Provide Continuous Filtration—Keeping your home smelling fresh and clean all the time means using an air purifier that can work safely 24 hours a day every day. A permanent slit capacitor motor that is rated for continuous high revolutions per minute (RPM) will insure long life duty. Check the technical specifications on the website or view or download the owner’s manual to make sure the purifier you choose contains this type of motor.

PurerAir.com offers an air purifier with all of the above features and more. And we continue to supply Ferrets with Soule Rescue Shelter with this same purifier. And a rescue shelter is the acid test for any purifier!
