Dorm Room Air Purifier

If you are continuing your college studies with summer school courses and are finding the air in your room hard to take, you’ve come to the right place.

For sure, you’ve got both particulate and gaseous pollutants floating around, so you need an air purifier that can eliminate both.

Since particles come in all sizes you need filters that can remove large, medium and microscopic size particulates.

A large and medium particle pre-filter should be the first filters that particles encounter followed by a HEPA filter.

A high efficiency particle arresting filter (abbreviated as HEPA) is designed to remove particles as small as point .3 microns in size including bacteria and viruses. This is the type of filter hospitals use to insure clean air.

As for the gaseous pollutants, carbon is well known for its ability to eliminate odors, gases, and airborne chemicals. And 5 to 7 pounds of activated carbon (from coconut shells) in a unit is adequate for removing gaseous pollutants.

This unit should also be light weight and able to be placed anywhere in your room, which probably does not have loads of space. But even if it is a spacious place, being able to put the purifier where you want it is a real convenience.

PurerAir.com offers the Dorm Room Air Purifier, and on this 4th of July we are proud to say that it is made by Americans in the United States of America!
