Christmas Decorations and Allergies

If you’re starting to get Christmas decorations down from the attic or out of the closet, there’s probably more coming from the attic and the closet than the decorations.

After a whole year of being tucked away, your pretty things have had plenty of time to collect dust, pollen, spores, dead insect parts and more.

Once these triggers go airborne when you move them, they are free to go up your nose, into your eyes, and onto your hands. If you’re not careful, getting rid of these allergens can become a vicious cycle.

You can brainstorm about how you can store things differently next year---zipped bags and plastic containers—but that doesn’t help with all that’s in your air right now. And the fact that these irritants are likely to stay in your air until the decorations are put away can make you feel bad continually. And the holidays are not time to be sick.

If you suffer with allergies, keeping the air clear of allergens that the Christmas decorations can drag in is the best way to avoid flare-ups during the holidays. Using a medical grade HEPA (high efficiency particle arresting) air purifier can take out dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen and other particles that have accumulated throughout the year.

PurerAir.com offers a medical grade air purifier that can take out allergens not just during the holidays but all during the year. See it for yourself now at http://purerair.com/allergy_machine.html
