Bird Aviary Dust Solution

Keeping the air clean in an aviary can be quite a challenge. With so many birds in captivity the dander, dust, and feathers can accumulate to harmful levels. Because bird’s air passages are so small, providing them with clean air is the most proactive way to keep them healthy.

An effective air purifier will need to be able to run 24 hours a day, and eliminate particles that can be seen in the air and those that are invisible to the human eye. The best solution for keeping the air clean in an aviary is HEPA (or high efficiency particle arresting) filtration.

This type of filtration produces only fresh air as a by-product. It is also specifically designed to remove airborne particles. To achieve the designation as a HEPA filter, it must be able to remove particles that are .3 microns or greater with 99.97% efficiency. That means that for every 10,000 particles in the air, it is able to eliminate 99,997 of them.

PurerAir.com continues to supply a number of aviaries (both commercial and private) throughout the United States and Canada. The Joshua Rescue Foundation and Theater of the Sea Aviary in Islamorada, Florida are just two of our clients that rely on these purifiers in their aviaries.
