Chemotherapy Home Air Purifier

Undergoing chemotherapy greatly reduces the immune system’s effectiveness in dealing with germs, bacteria, viruses and hence infections. This can temporarily cause immune deficiency. And many of these pollutants that the body has increased susceptibility to are airborne.

Normally with a strong immune system the body is able to render these airborne particulates harmless. But with chemotherapy weakening your immune system, bacteria and viruses often use these airborne particles to attack you as you breathe in the air that contains them. So by eliminating airborne particulates you are able to greatly reduce airborne viruses and bacteria.

At a time when keeping the air as clean as possible is imperative to your health, the most efficient way to maintain clean air is to filter the air with a high efficiency particle arresting (HEPA) filter.

In order for a filter to be designated as a HEPA, it must have been tested and proven to remove 99.97% of airborne particulates as small as .3 microns with 97% efficiency. This means that for every 10,000 airborne particles in the air 99,997 of them will be eliminated.
