Managing Parrot Dust

Parrots are exquisite creatures to watch and they make wonderful pets. So the extra cleaning and maintenance they require seems like no trouble at all.

But if you have an African Grey, Cockatoo, or Cockatiel you know first hand that these birds are dustier than the average parrot. And minimizing the bird dust in the air is crucial if you and your bird are to remain in good health.

Removing the dust after it has fallen is great as far as it goes. Removing it from the air is even more important. Having your feathered friend breathe heavy concentrations of this dust day after day means that their air passages (which are already tiny) often become clogged. Once blocked, this can lead to disease and infection which often prove hard to diagnosis. Ultimately, many birds in captivity with the most well-meaning owners lose their lives because of unhealthy air quality.

Unless you actively keep the air clear of the dust, dander, feathers and other airborne pollutants you are also putting the humans who live in your home at risk. The airborne contaminants, like the dust, help bacteria and viruses spread from one host to another and in some cases can lead to respiratory problems in humans.

Make it easy on you and your bird and filter the air 24 hours a day to keep air quality high. The Bird Dust Air Purifier contains 4 filters that are designed to target and eliminate the airborne contaminants that result from living with a bird.

You are in good company when choosing this purifier for your bird and your home as many professional aviaries have come to rely on it as well. See it now at http://purerair.com/bird_dust_air_purifier.html
