Bird Dander Air Purifiers-Keeping Your Bird Healthy with a Bird Dander Air Purifier

Yesterday I spoke with a client who is the caretaker of Macaws at a bird aviary. She said several interesting things about bird dander air purifiers--mainly the Austin Air HealthMate and the Austin Air HealthMate JR-- which I would like to pass on to you.

Birds are highly susceptible to respiratory problems because of the large number of air passages that they have. Using the air purifiers in the bird aviary has kept their airways clear, and she marvels at the fact that they now have a 60 year old Macaw in residence. She takes all the birds for regular check ups and the veterinarian is also amazed at how clear the birds’ airways are. My client attributes the birds’ good health to removing bird dander, dust, and feathers from the aviary with the Austin Air HealthMate and the Austin Air HealthMate JR air purifiers. “Bring those filters on”, she said, and ordered 2 more!

Birds in captivity without filtered air are exposed to more dander, dust, and feathers than they would be in the wild. Using an air purifier to literally clear the air makes sense, and a by-product of providing clean air for your bird is that you get to breathe clean air too!
