Replacing Your Austin Air Filter

If you have owned your Austin Air purifier for a while (5 or more years) and are replacing the filter for the first time, you may find the filter hard to pull out. This is most probably because the motor heat has melted the rubber gaskets and the gaskets are now stuck to the inside of the purifier. The good news is that the only thing you need to do is to have someone strong help you pull out the filter. Make sure you position your hands evenly so the filter comes straight up and out without damage to the purifier.

This happens very rarely, but we did have someone call in to us several days ago with the problem, and Austin Air suggested pulling really hard to get the filter to loosen.
